I LOVE this air fryer. I have been very late to the air fryer trend because I hate small appliances cluttering my kitchen, especially my counter tops. But this product is marvelous. It heats and cooks so quickly and can fit a surprising amount of food in its basket. I am a huge fan of Instant products. I love my Instant Pot, and this product meets and exceeds that standard. It makes heating crunchy snacks like fries or mozarella sticks a breeze. Much simpler and energy effective than your oven. But it's also great for roasting or baking potatoes for a quick dinner side. I love roasting carrots in it! Simple to clean. Just remove the basket and wash in your sink. A little Dawn Powerwash helps remove any grease. My favorite part of Instant products, besides their functionality and performance, is their streamlined and cleanly designed button panels. This device is mo different, and it's simple and easy to read panel ensures quick and easy operation. I love it and happened to get it on sale. An excellent value and product! I love Instant!

The control panel was so idiot-proof that I figured it out intuitively. I didn't even bother reading instructions or watching a video before diving in and using this.Doesn't make as much of a mess as others I've seen, so it's super quick and easy to clean up. Spilled cheese didn't stick.The one thing I didn't get right away is that the rack just goes on the bottom of the fryer basket. It doesn't need to be suspended.The fryer basket is super easy to handle if you need to shake your food, and doesn't require oven mitts or potholder to handle it. It's also light weight.I was super happy that it fit uner my cabinets with plenty of room for air circulation.It doesn't heat up my kitchen, either.The filters do work to filter out odors.

I did not subscribe to the air fryer hype until I decided this air fryer might be quicker than my crappy oven and be easy cleanup.Sold. Now I totally understand the hype now.This thing is pretty amazing and does not take up much counter space.I bought a 2-pack of silicone basket liners that work well with the air fryer.I like my Instant Pot and my new Instant whatever-vortex-something air fryer. For just the two of us it has ample room in the basket drawer. The light is a nifty feature.Get one. You will not be disappointed.Nor will your teen (when they make their breaded mozzarella sticks in 10 minutes flat) or your dog (when you dehydrate slices of sweet potatoes for them).

The best air fryer we have ever bought. This was our 4th or 5th air fryer and was about ready to switch to regular old oil frying to get crispy wings. Thankfully, the research I did paid off since this thing is a beast and we use it all the time. Wings, hot dogs, Trader Joe's Orange Chicken (no longer pan fry it, just toss the chicken in this, and in no time you have great crispy chicken to smother in the tasty orange sauce). The bake and reheat options work great. Overall 100/100 for this. I hope it lasts a long time, but when the time comes to replace it, I will be looking at this model again.

This is my final and fulfilled review. The air fryer itself has not been under review. The Instant company has been under reviewed. The machine itself made me very happy. Electronics is always something that can break. Just one of those things. The fryer is fabulous and I see it happily used in YouTube videos and well regarded. The company has fulfilled it's obligation to replace my under warranty air fryer, given me an apology for sending the wrong machine when one showed up, and suggested I gift it or donate it since it's not useable for me. My new machine appeared today. I am increasing the rating to 4 stars. Can't give it five stars because of the long drawn out customer support. I am so happy to be able to revise and update this review and I thank Instant for fully resolving this.I am writing to update my review. I still have not received my replacement air fryer. Same excuses and no product. Worst customer service EVER. Instant is proving to be as poor as their reputation of the past suggested. I'll keep updating, but at this point, it appears they have no intention of honoring the warranty and replacing my air fryer.Wish I could only comment about how great the machine was while it was working; because it was great. It was our first one of these and I researched it and took the America's Test Kitchen Recommendation and bought this model. I dithered a bit opening the box because it's large and I needed to do the mental gymnastics to figure out where to put it and then how to use it. About two weeks into actual use, the fan stopped working. I contacted the company (return window was closed) and provided them with the necessary proof of ownership, conditions of use and a video showing a broken machine. They were happy to inform me I'd be receiving a new machine, discard the old one (saving reusable parts) and await their tracking information. Great! Except I got silence from them. Waited over a week and was told they had a problem with their warehouse and it was being fixed. I'd get my tracking number in 2 to 3 weeks. Follow up contacts got me nowhere. Asking for my money back, I was informed I hadn't purchased it from them so they couldn't refund any money. I purchased it from them via their Amazon Store here but that is apparently different than purchasing it from Instant. Their website gives me the same contact information as the warranty information so I have no other recourse but to share my story. People have been very nice and very unhelpful in not providing me with a new machine. I had thought it would be a great gift for a couple of family members. I'm definitely rethinking this. The whole warehouse story is sounding silly. If they're waiting on manufacturing in China because of a bad batch, they should say so. Better than this excuse after 4 weeks... "Our warehouse is undergoing changes that have resulted in unexpected delays with shipments." In fairness, if they fix this for me, I will return here and update the review.

I have only had it for 2.5 weeks now. I bought it after seeing ATK review, other reviews, the filter and, I admit, the good looks. So far I'm absolutely loving it. It uses so much less energy than the full oven. --- I'm still learning how to use it.... so much to learn/tweak. One lesson: after doing a snack-batch of sweet potatoes... gotta be patient... let them cool off... avoid burning the roof of my mouth. :-P
