I got this to upgrade my older laptop from 8GB of RAM to 24GB with its extra slot. This was plug and play with an old Dell. Detected quickly and worked instantly. It did improve some performance of the laptop due to having more RAM, so that's great!

Perfect upgrade for Lenovo T490 laptop. Came with 2 x 8GB where one is unfortunately hidden on the top side of the motherboard. Did the easy upgrade and swapped the easier access slot with this 32GB resulting in 40GB of RAM. Took a little longer to boot the first time as the laptop checked out the new RAM. Subsequent reboots have been normal speed. Ran the UEFI extended memory disagnostics perfectly. The <Enter> then F10 option at boot is a really nice Lenovo feature.

These Crucial 2x16GB SODIMMs (32GB total) work perfectly in my Dell Inspiron 7506 2n1 laptop, even though Dell says that the laptop only supports 16GB. The initial boot to the Dell logo took a long time (about a minute), then I got a warning that the memory size had changed, then I clicked 'Continue', and then the first Windows boot took a long time (maybe 2 minutes). After that, everything was back to normal. Now the laptop hovers around 9GB of used memory when no apps are running, and 10-15GB used when I have several apps open. Way better than the original 2x4GB (8GB total) of memory. Now there is plenty of free memory for whatever I need to run; I'm very satisfied with this purchase!

Can confirm that this works with Acer Nitro 5, since the factory settings were 2933 MHz for my laptop this product easily changed its frequency to match my motherboard without any bios configuration needed from my side.

Works great with the Asus Zephyrus G16, in addition to what was already pre-installed. Buying it for 30 eur last july was pretty lucky I guess.
