Franke Triflow Olympus Replacement (FR9400) Spout Seal O Ring Kit

This kit came very quickly and sorted my leak straight away once fitted. I watched some You Tube videos on what to do, but it is very straight forward. The kit comes with a few extras as it covers slightly different versions of the same item, and also spare grub scews as they are easy to lose. Very happy with purchase

It’s a genuine Franke product, and it works. Our plumber found it somewhat difficult to get the tap out of its socket and then even more difficult to get it back in again, but the seal is now okay again.

In my case the tap was leaking at the base of the spout. I changed all parts as per their 'Change Guide'. The spout was very hard to replace in the tap body. When finally inserted the spout was so hard to turn it moved the body slightly before moving itself. I refitted the existing plastic bearing ring as it looked slightly different in shape to the replacement one (which looked fatter) and the problem went away. Clearly the bearing ring was oversize. I don't expect this to be an issue as far as fixing the leaking problem is concerned as the bearing ring is not used as a seal.

Easiest job imaginable and it stopped the tap continuing to run for a few seconds after turning off.

Purchased this Kit as water was leaking from the assembly where the tap fits into the main housing. On removing the pipe from the housing, I realised that this kit was not suitable for my tap. I contacted the Seller (GRD Ltd), they informed me that the kit was for an earlier version of my Tap. It appears there was a design change in 2011, so I needed a seal kit for a Tri-flow Filter Tap. I purchased the correct kit from them and they gave me a refund for the supplied seal kit. The correct seal kit is now available on Amazon.
