I bought two of these (Android-only) to keep in my sons' cars. They work well, although they both show up with the same Bluetooth name, which can make it hard to know which one I'm connecting to. You have to look at the MAC address (6 hex numbers separated by colons) to tell. I pair them with the Car Scanner Pro app. That app's GUI is a little unintuitive, but it's functional. I like it better than Torque. It can pull SRS (airbag) codes, which saved me from having to buy a really expensive, pro-style scanner tablet. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this scanner, combined with Car Scanner Pro, will even speak the J1939 protocol used in heavy duty trucks (like semis) and agricultural tractors. I don't know how fully it supports that, but it was able to connect just fine to my 2016 LS XR4145 tractor to pull & clear codes and watch basic live data. My tractor has an automotive-style 16-pin connector, but adapter cables are available to connect this dongle to 9-pin or other plugs found on most HD equipment. I'm about to buy two more of these to keep in my wife's and my vehicles for those unexpected emergencies.

This is the cheapest ODBII tool I saw. I needed it simple to check a code on my 2000 ford contour and reset the code if it was the Catalytic warning (I know that is dying but not worth fixing). The device worked fine and was able to clear the code. There is one issue, the device fits in the socket but there is no easy way to pull it out because it goes flush with the socket and you cannot get your fingers on it. This is solved simply by adding a piece of tape to make a handle that sticks out a little bit. The device read the codes correctly and as expected the code was my Catalytic converter efficiency warning. I was able to reset the code and the check engine light is off again. I downloaded a generic free app which worked first time no issues. It was pretty easy to use. The device was responsive and showed the correct engine data.

Nice scanner - actually is my second one -lost the first one ( which I'm expecting to show up anytime now that I've replaced it ;) All the better rather have one in each car. Really good quality -easy to connect - showed up as "OBD2"- not the name they said - was easy. This works with Dr. Prius , also Torque, Torque Pro , another hybrid vehicle app I am using to work on my Pirus C - very happy with it. I very used these on many vehicles and always get better data and more info than almost every single other more expensive unit . This - is a great product small size w small price - but big on function truly 👌 - CAN NOT RECOMMMEND ENOUGH !! You DO want THIS one! - ITS REALLY GOOD not fakery. Others MAY look like it but MANY are not the same inside. Accurate reader that is,what it says .

The price is low, but this thing has been GREAT to me. It's super easy to use. I've had the Android only version since 2020 and it has worked flawlessly every time on multiple vehicles without any issues. I use an app called "car scanner" from the Play Store. It's saved me many times reading my check engine light. It's response is great and it's not laggy. I've also used it to monitor live data on my vehicles while driving to diagnose issues no problems. Definitely a great purchase.

Hooked up easily and works just fine for my Samsung phone. The instructions recommend both the Torque and Car Scanner apps, but I was not impressed with the Torque app, as it was difficult to dig through seemingly no-stop advertising screens.

Works as expected on my 2007 Prius, I use it along with my Android phone with Dr.Prius app. Some times pairs immediately and some times takes a minute.

OK, so this is going to be a mixed bag,and its actually not the scanners fault, at least not alone. I purchased this specifically to permanently install on my 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5. With the Ioniq, as many EV owners know, it's vitally important when going longer trips to monitor vehicle performance. For that purpose, I wanted to use my old standby, Car Scanner Pro. The unit works perfectly with CSP, doesn't negatively effect the vehicle while running, and provides valuable insight into the state of the car. 20 years from now, those kinds of features won't be needed in EVs, but for today, most EV drivers know to use them when road tripping. For the price of this unit and the $4.99 CSP charge on Google Play Store, its a no brainer, 5 of 5, and if you prefer Torque or Torque Pro, it works with those, too. So, yeah, 5 of 5 stars. Except..... It is not a BLe (Bluetooth Low Energy) device. Therefore, the other most important reason every EV owner would want one, A Better Route Planner (ABRP) does not support it. ABRP is the standard way most EV drivers plan long trips, and having the real time vehicle monitoring is 50% of the reason to use ABRP, as it can update where you go and how long you charge based on real time vehicle performance, and is almost always better for long trips than built in NAV and route planning, but it has to have that data, and this unit can't do it. That means for non EVs, this is a 5 of 5, but for EVs, its a 1 star, unfortunately. Highly recommend for ICE engined vehicles. Highly recommend against for EVs.

l'ho comprato per gestire le funzioni evolute del sistema Ibrido Toyota con le varie App presenti sullo Store, ed effettivamente si interfaccia benissimo con Dr hybrid e Hybrid Assistant, oltre che Torque. Consigliatissimo

Perfecto el enganche

Purchased this to diagnose some codes on my Subaru Forester. Used it with the Torque Pro app, definitely gives me peace of mind in knowing I can see codes if my dashboard ever lights up again. Allowed me to fix the small things myself which is a great money saver. I always leave this in my glove box.

Works out of the box with MG ZS EV 2024 model, using the Car Scanner Android app. I was able to clear some error codes as well. The data displayed is accurate.
