Does what it says on the tin. Plug it in and its so effective, I can't hear anything either. Very good for privacy.

It did not work. When I plug it in, it stops me hearing what the person on the other side is saying but they can hear me. Total waste of money.

Very discrete and looks good - I ordered it for my laptop, coincidentally before lockdown (more zoom and teams calls) and am very happy as I know it blocks the mic and therefore protects my privacy.

So this works well. The only problem like others have mentioned is that to block the microphone this blocks the sound from the speakers as well so you will need to unplug it when you want to listen to videos or audio on the device that you're using on. It works a dream on a phone or laptop that I've used on so far.

Having previously used a similar device that protruded about 5/8 inch out of the phone, this fits virtually flush and is unobtrusive and the Keychain holder is a welcome addition, the previous type caught on the car seat whilst in my pocket and sheared off.

It blocks the audio too so I can't use my phone to watch videos or listen to music while it's plugged in. Save your money and buy a £1 pair of headphones and cut the cable off, it'll do the exact same job.

I did a lot of research before buying and I was very happy with my choice. The mic blocker works exactly as advertised. As to be expected the mic blocker is very small. It fits snugly into the audio port and the perpendicular handle makes it easy to install and remove. It comes in a small holding type case that fits onto a key ring so you can take it anywhere with you. As mentioned, it is very small and would be easy to lose so make sure you always put it back into its holder when not in use. I am planning to buy more for my family and my other devices.

Bella l'idea e bello il prodotto: ben costruito, solido ed elegante. Peccato che non funzioni! L'ho testato su S9 e BB keyone (Android), Iphone 6s (iOS) e laptop (Windows) e il risultato è stato sempre lo stesso: il microfono interno funziona perfettamente. Bocciato su tutta la linea. Peccato.

These do indeed force privacy by making the phone think a microphone is plugged in, but the design of this is so poor that the flat piece of metal will come away from the actual jack part the second you need to remove in a hurry, and THEN, like myself, you will panic because now if you answer the phone and someone thinks you're ignoring them because total silence, and you can't get the jack out with your bare fingers, u need fine-point pliers to remove them. If it's on sale and you have access to some super-super-super-strong glue then it'll do the trick but personally after my experience I couldn't throw it in the bin fast enough. A redesign is REALLY needed, where the jack cannot separate from the flat bar so easily.

Ich konnte mir zuerst nicht vorstellen, dass es wirklich funktioniert, aber tatsächlich klappt es einwandfrei: ist der Blocker eingesteckt, kann keiner mehr mithören. Ich habe das Ganze schon unfreiwillig bei einem Videoanruf getestet, bei dem ich vergessen hatte, dass der Blocker steckt: weder das Gegenüber noch ich hörten den kleinsten Pieps. Tut also ganz genau, was es soll! Den dazugehörigen Schlüsselanhänger bräuchte ich jetzt nicht unbedingt, da wäre eher ein USB-Stick mit zusätzlicher „Garage“ praktisch, da ich den Blocker immer nur bei Kameranutzung herausnehme und ihn dann gerne direkt in der Nähe solange „parken“ würde. Der Preis hat mich ebenfalls überrascht, ist schon eine stolze Summe für so ein kleines Ding. Aber es wirkt sehr robust und hochwertig, daher gibt es auch keinen Stern Abzug deswegen. Ich fühle mich auf jeden Fall geschützt vor heimlichen Lauschern und kann das Produkt daher weiterempfehlen.
