Works Perfect for a Great Price.. Small Tip Below.
I like it.. think it's a great value for 10-bucks and some change. I read a few reviews commenting on it being plastic effecting it's accuracy and I didn't have that experience at all. It is made of some type of plastic but its fiber reinforced or something.. light but of good quality and made with tight precise tolorences. No play or wiggle in the moving parts. I feel its accurate as I have a Harbor Freight metal one that often needs to be zeroed where as this one I calibrated or zeroed once and it's stayed dead zero after using and turning off and on four or five times in the few days I've had it. Also thought I would be bothered by it not having the rolling thumb wheel that most have but it has just the right amount of resistance when sliding that it feels controlled in use. Also it's nice that for this price it came with a case but even better is it taking the common 2032 batteries that everything takes and I keep on hand.. rifle scopes, garage opener, bathroom scales, key fobs.. etc. Another thing helpfull to me is having the fraction unit of measurement included with decimal and mm. Handy for woodworking. One thing that drove me crazy that I found an easy fix for is it rattled around inside the case to the point it seemed to be turning it on (it auto turns on when you start using it). Also the tiny screwdriver included for the battery just tumbles around all over inside. So.. here's the tip --If you look in the lid theres two small post one at each end that holds it in place when closed.. although way to loosly. If you cut three pieces of rubber 1/4 fuel line exactly 5/8" long, pushing one over each of the post adds just enough length for a rubber bumper to hold it in place with no movement when closed. You just have to slide it all the way to the right when laying it in the case. The third piece slid over the screwdriver handle makes it much easier to use (bigger and grippier) and it'll wedge in the oval storage area in front. See my pic if interested, it shows what I did. Also worth mentioning, if not noticed, there's a clear protective film on the screen that can be peeled off making the read out cleaner and sharper when reading. Good Value.. does what you bought it for well. I say its a good buy.

Lightweight, sturdy and accurate to about .01mm
I have several nicer steel calipers but wanted some plastic ones that were lightweight and could be used for delicate things that I didn't want to risk scratching with the steel calipers. These have worked perfectly for me. In fact I often find myself using these rather than my nicer calipers just because these are so lightweight and convenient to carry and so inexpensive that I do not have to worry about losing or damaging them. Whatever plastic they are made from is quite hard and sturdy. They don't have a thumbwheel, but they slide so smoothly and I can easily just press the jaw with my thumb without needing a thumbwheel. The only real drawback I have found is that these are only accurate to about +/- .01mm. It is very noticeable when zeroing them because you can zero with the jaw shut, take a measurement and close the jaw again and it may read .01 or -.01 mm. So there's about .01 to .02 mm of slop in the measurement. For most of what I do, this accuracy is good enough.

WEN 10761 Electronic 6.1-Inch Digital Caliper
Item is as advertised. This caliper is constructed of a durable plastic is very light weight. The LCD readout is large and easy to read. It comes with a plastic protective case and button cell battery. While this does not utilize a scrolling wheel it is easy to use. However, I find that the resolution is a bit jittery and indecisive at times. It performs very well at its inexpensive price point.

Best calipers for woodworking so far
If you know — you know. This one has required precision for woodworking. It also has fractions display, so it can work as a unit converter. It’s very readable, not just because of a bigger screen, but also because of better contrast. None of the other plastic calipers in this category has these features. It’s great WEN it works. It properly resets the scale on the length test, it correctly measures a length gage. It has on/off button, so batteries aren’t drained. Battery cover is screwed on, so a battery doesn’t suddenly jump out. It’s good enough to keep a protective box. I’ve bought several for different parts of my shop.

Perfect for measuring stuff you don't want to scratch.
It's not as accurate as a high dollar stainless caliber, but a hundredth of an inch is plenty accurate enough to measure jewelry and other stuff you don't want to scratch.

Feels amazingly cheap, but very accurate.
I have been on the market for a new digital caliper and this one looks nice, but I was very surprised by the very cheap feel when I unboxed it. All light weight plastic, it feels very easy to mar the jaws on the outside measuring contact areas and even more frail on the inner measuring contact areas. My current caliper is not plastic and has a nice weight and feel with an actual thumb wheel for fine adjusting. This one is all flimsy plastic, with a thumb pad instead of a thumb wheel. There is also no knob to lock the position of the caliper in place. I won't return this as the cost was low enough, however I will most likely spend a bit more and get a higher quality tool, as I don't expect this one will last very long in a shop environment. Having said that, it is very inexpensive with a large, easy to read display. It has MM, inch decimal and fraction and it was spot on accurate with my higher quality digital caliper. Could be great tool for the right use case.

Highly Recommend!
I was very impressed with this digital caliper. Very light weight and precisely adjusts for performing the measurement. I purchased the fiber version and the construction feels very solid. I like the fact that this material will not scratch or mark up items 'accidently' vs. the stainless steel version. The price was good and I especially like that it comes with a protective case. The battery is a 'common' cell size (CR2032).

Pretty darn good caliper, biggest display I have found and non-conductive electrically
This caliper sports the biggest display I have found and, because it is carbon fiber, it is non-conductive electrically. Reads dead open with ah ohm meter on each blade. But since this caliper is carbon fiber and not stainless steel, you don't get the rigidity of stainless. The "zero" and measurement is sensitive to the force you use. I have shown this Wen next to a stainless steel Sangabery, also available here on Amazon, but the Sangabery is $20 bucks, not $12 like this Wen. You can see how much larger and clearer the Wen display is. Unfortunately, the Wen doesn't have that handy knurled wheel to do fine adjustments as does the Sangabery. There were some complaints about accuracy in other reviews so I checked mine. Reads a 25 mil feeler gage dead nuts. I have shown it reading a 1" polished end gage block in the pictures, and it reads .0005" high. Not bad, well within spec. Comes in a solid case, and uses a larger CR2032 cell instead of a crummy LR44, so I am hoping to see a lot more battery life even with the larger display. As I get older it simply is so much easier to throw this caliper on a small drill than trying to read that small printing, and this unit displays fractions.

Nice quality!
Looks and feels better than those discount plastic ones and the larger readout is nice. I recommend getting a case to protect it.

Easy to read
This product is great, along with a large display it also has fractions which can come in handy on times. Also built very well.

Buen producto pero...
Buen producto, aunque no lo recomiendo para mediciones pequeñas. Al utilizarlo para medir el grosor de cables metálicos delgados, noté que no ofrecía un resultado muy preciso.
