This mount is the required piece if you’re attaching a GoPro to a helmet with an NVG shroud. The aluminum construction feels solid and more durable than plastic alternatives, which is important when mounting a camera in active environments. Once secured, it locks in firmly and doesn’t introduce noticeable movement or wobble. In my use case, this is paired with a tactical-style helmet setup similar to what I use for dive and airborne applications. It provides a stable mounting platform without adding unnecessary bulk. Fitment with compatible GoPro models is straightforward, and installation into the NVG mount is secure. There aren’t any real drawbacks in performance. Solid metal, and comes with foam pads to keep the camera from rattling around. It works great for capturing footage on the airsoft field. No worries of this thing breaking on me.

I love the mount and I can finally use it for my Airsoft gameplay to record. It’s worth amount of money. The weight is good and has good versatility which I can wear it around the field. The Material is great that it is able to resist against amount of BBs. It fits well on my helmet but it doesn’t have good wiggle resistance. The wiggle physics doesn’t bother me at all and it still works well on my helmet.

This is the piece you need to mount your GoPro hero to a bump helmet. I’ve jumped out of a plane a couple times into a lake and it kept it mounted.

Overall quality is decent but it needed modification to fit a Hard Head Veterans bump helmet shroud. I shaved the button by dremel to make it work but also had to tape the back to eliminate wiggle due to under sizing. I placed around 12 layers of tape and cut the clean with a razor and then peeled one piece at a time until the piece fit snug.

Added this to a Team Wendy SAR Tactical helmet. Was a tad bit wiggly when installed into the built in TW head mount, and with the metal on metal made a rattling noise which I thought might come through on the audio when recording on my GoPro. Easy fix. Mount comes with some small square padding. Used it to place under this mount and TW helmet mount. Tight now with no rattle or movement.

Works well. Had to use the sticky back so it didn't move. Happy.

It fits a Canadian issues NVG helmet mount but I had to take it to a grinder to remove some material on the backside of the pressure button as it prevented it from clicking in. Otherwise I’m very happy for the price.

This item would be perfect if it was the correct sizing, it felt very sturdy and had a smooth spring with decent aesthetics, but it was just really badly sized. Wiggled like crazy in my shroud which would make it unusable on its own, but it also had no flex or clamping on the camera mount meaning the camera just flopped around in it even when tightened. If they fix their sizing it could be a good product but right now it's unusuable
