DC18SD 7.2-18V Battery Charger

Apparently this version of the charger is slower than the wider version, but I dont really care. Don't need more than 2 batteries to swap between, for my purposes this thing works just fine and costs a lot less.

Works great for all of my Makita batteries. I use it on 2.0, 4.0 and 5.0 AH batteries.

I started looking for chargers at my local hardware store until i realized this was half the price. I was a little skeptical given the price of this but after confirming it was the right charger for my battery decided to order it right away. It took a few days to arrive but charges my battery in about 2 hrs.

Mine died just out of nowhere tried everything to fix it but it was just dead ordered this one not thinking I was going to get a brand name Makita charger for 20 bucks but I did! Works great I have charged four batteries with it before doing this review.

it charges fast, it takes less than half hour to get fully charged, great price too

Had to reorder it the first one was undeliverable, this one came in two day early so that was great. Husband was happy we charged the batteries that day.

This was a replacement purchase. I previously had one that had a damaged cord. I am a true believer in the quality of Makita products as I have multiple tools. Battery Drill, Battery Impact gun, Battery Snow Shovel, hard wired Drill and a line trimmer. I didn’t want to buy a compatible charger I wanted the original.
