Review: Very good quality - I had to replace the capacitor in my microwave and the high voltage in it scared me to touch it although the microwave was off and disconnected from power. I shorted the capacitor but stil used these gloves to unscrew it just in case. I replace the capacitor and the microwave now works. These provided the gurantee that I would not be shocked incase there was an issue with the old capacitor discharging Review: Perfectly adequate for typical "homeowner" work. - Do they stink? My god yes. Terrible. I keep mine in an outdoor shed and they still stink after 9 months. But do they work? Yes. I use them when doing any live 240 volt work in a breaker panel, AC circuits, and my whole-house generator wiring. The material is thick and rugged, yet fairly flexible. If you can deal with the stink these are an inexpensive way to keep from getting killed.

Big for women, stink to high heaven, but get the job done
Served their purpose. As a woman they are enormous on me, and they're very thick/stiff, so all I could really do was grip things and push on stuff - it was a challenge to wire a new circuit and need to be maneuvering a wire around a bunch of other wires in the panel and into small holes, but I managed to complete the work safely. I deducted one star because my gloves arrived smelling strongly of a campfire. I've recently read about how some of the chemicals used in the rubber manufacturing process in China that have this smell can be potentially hazardous to your health. I left mine outside to off-gas for 2-3 days which wasn't nearly enough time. It's been over a week now and I can smell them any time I walk by within 5 feet of the tool chest they're in. I'm thinking of putting them back outside for a few weeks and then keeping them in a sealed bag if they still stink after that.

Seem plenty good to me
The set I received (Feb 2020) is fine. They have some rubber smell, but nothing horrible. I suspect the awful smell reported by others is from a batch that was very fresh from the factory. They are also plenty usable. I have average size adult male hands, and they fit well. They are fairly stiff and would be inappropriate for any fine work, but they are flexible enough to hold basic tools, such as needle-nose pliers or a short length of household wiring. My only concern is to warm them to room temperature when used indoors; reviewers' reports of odor led me to store the gloves outside, and as it's now winter, the gloves gathered some moisture from condensation when I took them inside, potentially creating a shock hazard. However, they dried fairly quickly.

What's that in your hands?!?
Another cosplay item... perfectly designed for protection. However depending on how large ones hands may be... this product could be annoying. If you n3ed more precision with your fingers/grip you may want a different item

Serious Rubber Gloves
These electrical work gloves are REALLY thick rubber! I was surprised, and glad too. I am working on an experimental wind turbine of my own design and I have no desire to get the #$%#^ shocked out of me! With these gloves I am confident that I will be protected.

A thick, safe feeling.
Pros - strong and not too small for my big mitts. Cons - difficult to use for fiddly electrical work but then they aren't intended for that. I'm not an electrician but I'll use the gloves for removing palm fronds from my home electrical lines as they join the roof and I managed to use the gloves, albeit with difficulty, when changing a light switch. Regarding the latter they provided me with that extra reassurance.
