Zatarain's Crawfish, Shrimp & Crab Boil, 4.5 lb

I made a foil wrap with shrimp, corn on the cob and taters and sprinkled just a small amount in it, made my foil meal taste so good. It doesn't take much to get the taste of it and it's amazing ... Try it, cheap enough to use since the container is huge. We really love the taste .. Quick Shipping too!

This adds quite a bit of flavor to seafood. It is now my go to for shrimp and crap claws. If you add kosher salt it is a cheaper version of Old bay or JO’s #2

We've tried them all and this boil seasoning is what my family prefers! A little spicy without blowing your mouth up for a family of 8 we use about 1/2 a container in our boil so the cost in nominal - great value for your money and tastes great!

I purchased this spice mix for cooking shrimp. I followed a recipe for "Mighty Good Shrimp Salad" to bring to a boil four quarts of water and the Zatarain's bag. Then add the shrimp and 1 tablespoon salt and cook until the shrimp are curled and pink, about 2 minutes. Remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon to cool. The shrimp came out great! But I couldn't tell if the spice mix made any difference in the shrimp's flavor. Would simply boiling the shrimp in salted water have come out the same? That's why I gave the Zatarain's four stars instead of five.

This makes cooking dinner so easy and fun and healthy! It couldn't be easier! You simply pour a bunch of this into a pot of boiling water and then throw in whatever you're going to cook. Being vegan, I threw in mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, tofu, garlic, lemon, and onions. I also threw in some vegan hot dogs and sausages. The vegan hot dogs and sausages did not take the flavor so much but everything else did and it was wonderful. I would say the mushrooms, garlic, carrots, oh and brussel sprouts, took the flavor the best. But it is all good. My girlfriend was delighted with this dinner. She said it was healthy and tasted delicious. She said she wanted to have it again for dinner the next night. We think it's healthier because it doesn't contain a lot of oil which has the fat in the calories. I will say there's some salt in here but I don't think all of it's getting absorbed into the veggies. It's worth every penny and then some. Highly recommended!
