Will this work with windows 8 pc?

I use mine with Windows 10, but most mice will work on any Windows platform or if they don't you can download a free driver from Microsoft.

I use programs that require a lot of clicking and holding the middle scroll wheel. Does this mouse do that well?

Yes, it's low profile and comfortable to use.

Is this a bluetooth wireless mouse that uses no dongle or does this mouse use a dongle?

Well, I had to look up as to what a dongle was, but yes, it uses a little tiny USB dongle
