This film was the perfect choice to come up my hardwood floors during an estate sale. It held up to a ton of foot traffic during a snowstorm. I didn’t want “germs” in my home and this did the trick. Removing it was easy but required some serious strength to pull off. It didn’t leave any residue and it came off in one piece. But the grip is very strong so you had to pull hard to get it off. But that is a testament to the quality of this product. I used it on a floor and was able to go from hardwood and on top of my area rug with ease. It stuck to both of the surfaces. I would imagine you could use this film for multiple uses. I also used it to cover up my carpet on the stairs leading to my basement to keep that clean. It was also easy to apply once you got the trick of pulling it first from the role, pushing it down with your hands and then pulling out another 3 to 5 inches at a time. I’m doing it that way it allowed for one person to do the application. I would imagine if two people did it. You could pull larger sections of the film, but that’s not always possible.

We were so impressed by this product! ( Floor Protection Film) we purchased the 36 X 200 size roll! Our moving company commented on how great this product held up well and protected our wood flooring from any damage, dirt, etc. (The blue floor protection film is for wood and tile only) some people left bad reviews used it on (carpet! )This product is Not For Carpet! There is a different protection film specifically for carpet this is not it! We will be using this again when contractors are painting in our home!!! Works fabulously!!!

My experience was not great. The only thing it sticks to reliably is itself. I appreciate that it faces outward, which makes it easier to roll out. In actual use, however, it was nothing but frustrating. I used maybe 20 feet of it, and that included reapply some after it lifted from the floor and stuck to itself.

I'm so glad this product is available. My home has new sheet vinyl flooring through out. I wanted to protect it while I did some painting, etc. It took only two tries to figure out which way to unroll it and how to place my feet on it while unrolling. I used one of those small utility knives to cut it.

I did a cross country move with professional movers and even though they had mats to lay down, I wanted more protection and more coverage on areas they wouldn't lay mats down or couldn't like the stairs. The house we moved into had brand new, easy to scratch/dent engineered wood floors. Even a box moving across it would scratch it. It works best to have 2 people lay this stuff down but you can manage doing it by yourself once you get used to it. It is like saran wrap. We found dry rag helped to smoothie down as you go instead of using your hands. I would say the the wrap performed as expected. Its not a miracle wrap and tore in a few places from the mover's hand trucks (I just put paniter's tape over the tears until the movers were done), but it definitely helped to protect my floors. As far as removal, it came up just fine. I even had some areas that I didnt remove for well over a week and it came up just fine with no damage.

It only worked about 60%. Would not stick to the floor as it should. Don't think I would advise using this product. In theory, it is a good idea. But it just did not work for me.

Great on hard wood floors for protection. Easy to remove

First got onto this during a boat refit. One side has a non-transferable quality that holds the film to the hard surface. The top surface doesn't grab anything. Instructions say maximum of 45 days in contact with the hard surface. We used it to protect newly finished oak floor while moving furniture in during a time of rain and mud. Easily came off the floor without a trace.

This film is supposed to be safe for wood floors….. Not!! It literally peeled away spots of varnish, and ruined them! I’d be better off just letting everyone walk over the wet floor or used a tarp… crap product that’ll leave me $1000 in debt for refinishing job….

C'est simplement une sorte de Saran wrap qui colle. Il est beaucoup trop collant et risque d'abîmer le fini/vernis de mon plancher et le "saran wrap" est bien trop mince pour pouvoir protèger le plancher des dommages. Les deux rouleaux que j'ai acheter s'en vont aux poubelles.
