I never really ate breakfast cereal, let alone one I consider to be a kid's cereal. Yet, my husband is a fan of Froot Loops, which I would buy him from time to time during my shopping trips. One day, I saw the Marshmallow version in the store, brought it home for him, and he loved it.Curious, I ate a bite. Intrigued, I poured myself a bowl.Now I am addicted to Froot Loops with Marshmallows. I tried the original version when we ran out of these and that was a skip.So here I am, a grown-ass woman, with several boxes of Fruit Loops with Marshmallows stocked in her pantry that she graciously shares with her husband.

Yes, I'm a grown woman over 30. Yes, I bought these for myself. And I have zero regrets. I'd been craving Froot Loops and while I was on Amazon Fresh I looked for them. And then I found these. They're the tiny dehydrated marshmallows with the perfect hit of added sweetness to your fruity cereal. I almost bought Fruity Pebbles instead and I'm so glad i didn't!

This is what I like to refer to as “candy cereal”. It’s very sweet and colorful with lots of artificial colors. But also, it’s incredibly delicious.I don’t think I’d recommend it as a breakfast, but it’s such a great dessert and late night snack!

How do you improve on fruit loops? By adding marshmallows of course. Here we have the love child of Lucky Charms and Fruit Loops with the best of both!

I think because these are shaped like Cheerios I feel a little less guilty about giving my kids a sugar packed breakfast. This is in addition to eggs... treat only.
