IRON OUT Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner Tablets, 12 Tablets

OBSESSED! We are having problems with the water coming from our well. It’s going to cost thousands of dollars to fix. In the meantime, the copious amount of iron in our water is staining our toilets. I’m a little nuts about a clean toilet. It has to be crystal clear clean for me. Until we find a solution for our well issues I’m using this Iron Out. Let me tell you, it took care of all the toilet staining. They are spotless! The water is a little cloudy the first few flushes but that’s the cleaning power. I will always have this on hand.

We are on a well. The water taste good but it is very hard and leaves rings in the toilet. Nothing worked very well until we bought this. Works like a charm. We will continue to purchase it.

I got these to try in our toilet tanks to see if it would help keep the bowls from staining. I've used iron out to clean rust stains and it worked well. I think the issue we have is something other than iron and rust. I can smell it in the water but we are still having a build up in the bowls. We have a water softener, a water conditioner, and several filters. Whatever it is this does not help. That being said I have no doubt that if you have iron they would work.

JUST RECEIVED

This was purchased to clean the inside of the tank of my toilet. The toilet dates from 1956, and likely had never been cleaned. The tank was stained to the water line with a very dark rust color. Following the package instructions, I raised the water level in the tank above the stain, then added the Iron-Out. After letting it sit overnight, I used a soft brush to agitate the stain. I then flushed the toilet again. The stain was very nearly gone. Because of the age of the stain, I went through the process a second time. After the water in the tank was flushed and refilled, the porcelain was completely white and stain-free. The 66-year old rust stain was completely gone.

I'd rive negative stats if I could. Used this and it made a black sludge in the tank.
