Bernat Softee Baby Yarn, 5 oz, White, 1 Ball

This is my first time using this yarn to make baby clothes and I really like how it feels. It’s also just the right thickness too before the yarn I would use would make the clothes really like big but now they are just the right sizes.

It’s soft tissue and smooth

Love all Bernat yarn, this one is extra soft and the pink is light but bright at the same time, perfect baby pink.

Just finished a sweater. The yarn is very soft and after completing a slight halo. It snags easily, even a rough place on your hands will snag it. Haven't washed it yet. Not sure how long it will hold up. That being said, I'm used to knitting with wool. Thickness is #3, used #5 US needles. Like that is tested for 300 substances so it's safe for babies skin (Oeko-tex certified) this is why I purchased it.

This is a Bernat Baby weight yarn in a combination color of green, grey, white, and blue. The yarn weight listed on package is 3. I found this to be a light 3 and was a little difficult for me to work with. This could have been due to the pattern itself (which did call for weight 3) but it just seemed thin even for a weight 3. I think this could be attributed to the fact that it is listed as Bernat SOFTEE baby. This is a particularly soft and light weight yarn that is perfect for newborn baby projects. I have never worked with Softee baby yarn before but I would try it again (just with a different pattern). I really enjoyed the colors which are not "in your face". I wanted a genteel color for a baby boy blanket and "Prince Pebbles" was the very thing! Beautiful, soft, delicate. I wouldn't pull this out many times in a row, if you make a mistake: it tends to frizz and become tattered looking if you pull it out too many times. I would recommend this to experienced crocheters, knitters that enjoy working with delicate yarn/projects.

I don't have a store nearby that sells yarn so I'm so happy to find what i need online. Bernat is a great yarn, especially the baby kind, it's very easy to crochet with also nice and soft and washes easily. Thank you for carrying it! It's reasonably priced too.

I am very disappointed with the wool I thought it was soft it’s soft but not very soft for a newborn baby I am now making a blanket that I’m not happy with the wool it looks very stringy I will not be buying it again I wish I never bought it not a happy customer
