Log Cabin Original Pancake Syrup, 64 Fl oz

Way better price than in grocery

First two uses was harsh on my throat, as if I'd just eaten 30 packs of sugar straight, or eaten a single page of sandpaper. After that, I had absolutely no issues with it. Texture: nice and smooth. Taste: Great, but sometimes it seemed inconsistent; never needing butter one day, few days later you can't taste anything unless you added butter. Pour Rate: Consistent, thick enough to take a squeeze or two to cover your pancake/waffle, but not be watery like Dutch Mill, and thin enough that it doesn't fall into the super thick Mrs. Butterworth's territory. Color: Standard Dark Amber that most syrup brand's seem to fall into. (I'm legally blind, so this may not be 100% accurate) All things considered, giving it a rating of 5/5 at it's been the most consistent in taste/texture/color out of all syrup that I've used, outside of the Kirkland brand.

BOTTOM LINE: Been using this brand/flavor on waffle & pancakes for years. Love the big economy jug. Costco stopped carrying it, so... Hello, Amazon! LOL THOUGHTS: Used to use Mrs.Butterworth as a kid (the sweeter back then, the better), but as I've gotten older, Mrs.B's is just too sweet. Not sure if it was me or if they messed with the original recipe. Either way, it just wasn't for me anymore. Tried a few brands and kept coming back to Log Cabin. It's maple-y, without being too sweet or too chemical tasting. Not too thin nor too thick, but juuuust right. Original Log Cabin's been my go-to syrup now for going on 30 years. I like the big jug; it just lasts longer and doesn't take up that much more space in our pantry. Used to buy 2pk at Costco, but they discontinued it. Amazon to the rescue! It's on my subscribe & save list now... and forever. LOL.

This is a no brainer, If you love pancakes get this large bottle. save you a lot of money over the G-Store. Not to forget their is NO High Fructose. Its not the same as Pure Maple Syrup from up east but its second to it..

Taste is very good. Consistency remains same from opening to emptying the last of contents. It is a large bottle but the handle makes using it very easy. The syrup is of good quality and taste. I would recommend this product.

My Family Likes This Syrup. It Tastes A Bit Different Than It Did Many Years Ago. But It's Still Pretty Tasty. I Like To Buy It In The Larger Bottle Size.
