What is the maximum depth of the cut (the thickness of the toe nail that can be cut)? In mm if possible please.

For thumbnails, 0.8mm (as measured) is standard. The large toenail is perhaps thicker (1.2mm?) but I would not use this tool. It is far too 'all or nothing' - meaning you cannot gradually make cuts. It's just chop..chop..chop. You would need a nail file to clean things up. Better use toenail-specific tools.
