Large capacity thermos that holds the temperature for about a day or two
Great product that has lasted me for at least a year thus far. Keep in mind, though, you lose your tea's 'hotness' after about a day or so. So you'll need to make your tea on an almost daily basis; every other day at the worst. Also, make sure to always throw away your tea if you are not going to use this for more than like 3 days. I went to make some tea after about a week or two of not using it, and when I opened it, I was somewhat mortified to see that there was a thick layer of sludge inside. I think the tea somehow molded up and took over the inside. It took a ton of vinegar and scraping with a straw (and swirling around a bunch of paper towels) and multiple, multiple rerinsing with boiling water, followed by more vinegar and baking soda, then more boiling water, before I felt comfortable making any more tea in this thing. Obviously that is not a fault of the thermos, but just wanted to point it out in case anyone else mistakenly thought that mold couldn't grow without sunlight. Which in retrospect should have been obvious considering sometimes things will go moldy inside of fridges... But all in all, this is a great product - holds like 5 glasses of tea if I remember correctly. I enjoy it most because I am a bit of a germaphobe at times and don't really trust my apartment's water supply, so I boil my water even after my Brita filters it. However, I find boiled water to taste kind of weird, so instead of letting it cool down, I just use it to make tea, and VOILA, water source that doesn't taste bad. I have admittedly cut back use of this ever since that mold issue and now drink bottled water more often. But I kind of miss tea, so thanks to amazon for telling me to review this and reminding me that I have this item!

11 years of experience with these...
I have owned and have been running my little coffee shop/cafe for just over 11 years as of August 31st, 2018...I have only ever used these air-pots, I swear by them. I have on more than one occasion tried other kinds or types, usually due to cost, but have on more than one occasion been utterly disappointed by the others, and have then ordered these again. So long as they are 'charged' properly at the start of the day (left with hot water in them for at least an hour, if not overnight), they will keep your coffee piping hot for hours, without the scorch-effect of a burner. The only drawback; if you happen to bump or bang one with much force or impact (counter, sink divider, etc) the seal between the insulating core, and the inner carafe gives out, at which point they no longer hold the heat the way they are capable of when in proper functioning order. ...I also think they(the seals between the ins. core and carafe) eventually just give out with age and regular use, like most things. I still prefer them to many other air pots because they are double walled stainless steel, and not glass lined. Even with this little factor(sensitivity to being jarred), I have typically gotten 2-3 years (if not longer) of service out of each of the ones I have purchased. There were a couple of air-pots that fell prey to a particularly clumsy employee(or myself) and had to be retired sooner than normal, but it was not by any means the fault of the product, but rather the person handling it. A couple of side notes: 1) If you order one, I strongly recommend testing it immediately when it arrives, to make sure that it wasn't damaged in transit. When you fill these up to 'charge', you shouldn't feel any heat on the outside of the air-pot. If you do, the airpot has suffered some sort of impact and should be returned/replaced. I have only had this happen once, and because I didn't take delivery of this particular air-pot but rather a newer employee of mine did(and din't know to test the airpot initially), the damage went unrealized until I was no longer able to return it to have it replaced, so I had to eat that one, and they aren't necessarily cheap. 2) As a small business, and frequently being surprised with those 'incidentals' that there is no way to prepare for...When you do have to retire an old air-pot, save the inner straw and spout, as well as the lid (which has the air-pump/bladder). These things are typically being exposed to high heat constantly, and as a result some parts become brittle over time and will eventually give out. Having some of these extra parts lying around comes in handy when a little plastic tab breaks off or cracks...even if you are not very 'handy' it would only take a little time to figure out how to swap out a couple of little parts vs spending another $40-$50 plus shipping on an entirely new assembly. Even if you would prefer to order a whole new assembly, you have the option and ability to patch things together until the new one arrives.

Price and Practicality!
I originally bought the 102 oz OGGI Pumpmaster and it went back the very next day after I used (or tried) to use it. Took forever to pump out one cup of hot chocolate. With that concern, I really read up on reviews and this Bunn seemed to have excellent ratings and the price was reasonable. So far, I am in love with this airpot!!! It totally delivers everything you need. Easy to fill, a nice strong pump handle that fills a cup in 1-2 strokes and easy to pour out extra liquid out afterwards. I like that the lid snaps completely off for emptying and cleaning. You can't get your hand in for cleaning or drying, but the opening is wide enough to clean with either a brush or a towel wrapped around a wooden spoon. I was also worried about having to pump liquid out to close the pump lever when I was done, but that's not how it works. There's a release button that allows you to get the lever down without it doing the pumping action. Well designed and great quality! VERY happy with this purchase. It's night and day from the last piece of junk I bought.

Good piece of gear!
As I'm sure those who enjoy a good cup of coffee know, if you leave it on the warmer for any length of time after brewing if becomes, well, undrinkable, which is where this comes in. Brew a pot, pour in and it keeps it hot and fresh for hours. It's large enough to accommodate our large family when in town. High quality components, easy to use and clean. Absolute must to keep hot or cold beverages for an extended period of time!!

Product works great for coffee or hot chocolate.
This is a great carave. We use it frequently for hot chocolate and it works great and keeps the product hot for hours. The only โcomplaintโ is that it is difficult to clean. Since I am using a milk based product, a thorough cleaning is a necessity. The only way I could clean it was to buy a baby bottle brush and scrub the inside that way. But I would buy again! It was worth every penny!

Strong enough for racing.
We use this on a racing sailboat. Normally, we heat water in our teapot and put it in the pump pot to make Via coffee, tea, ramen noodles and hot chocolate. Fast, safe, hot food and liquid is important when you are on a distance race. It can get cold. We had a 60 mile overnight race two weeks ago. That Friday afternoon, I boiled some water to heat up the pot and then took it to the club where the kitchen will brew a pot of coffee right into it, just as they do with their pump pots for the dining room. This was 5PM. The club has great Italian coffee. We were amazed, not only was it still hot coffee when we landed at 3AM Saturday. It was still good, hot coffee at 11AM Saturday when I woke up. It was still good, very warm coffee that I gave the cop on the dock at 9PM that Saturday night. And it was warm coffee at 7AM the next morning, Sunday, and still warm when we emptied it at 7PM Sunday. 48 hours and as warm as a fresh cup that sat on a table for 20 minutes. This replaced smaller one (2L) that had a glass liner that broke. This one won't break. No glass. It has survived 700 miles of rough water racing and works incredibly well. If we needed a second one, we would definately buy another.

Worth the cost
Bunn air pots have been excellent and dependable consistently for the 20+ years I've used them. I've used them in the past in professional capacity, now we buy them for personal travel. Yes, they are expensive, but so is mediocre chain coffee shop coffee. If you're on the road frequently and can learn to make a decent pot of coffee, this will pay for itself. Plus, we've put these through stuff most people won't, and, while they do get banged up after a while, they still held coffee hot. We're hard on them, and one will usually last us a few years. THat's daily use in a harsh environment.

Excellent! Nice and large for a crowd, but it keeps a smaller pot full warm for hours as well. Simple parts that come apart easily. Very easy to clean.

A versatile Great Value !
This product is well made and keeps coffee hot for hours. The pump action level dispenses coffee easily and the flow rate is not too fast, but just right. This is a great product for the money and saves a fortune over catered coffee from Time Horton's or Starbucks.
