Slim, trim, very effective.
Love the Omron HJ-320. I was introduced to this product via a research study that I participated in at a University lab. I needed to count the number of steps I was taking daily and report the results to the research office. This product is very slim, good strong clip to use on your clothing or it has the option to work just as effectively by having it in the pocket of your pants, skirt, coat, etc. It records 7 days at a time and has a variety of other options for you to record your physical activity. I was so impressed with the Omron HJ-320 after wearing it in conjunction with this research study for over 6 weeks that I bought one for myself. Good product, strong clip, easy to use and program, can be worn on your clothing or records just as easy by carrying it in your pocket.

Great device, belt clip lousy.
Simple, light, cheap, and accurate. Memory means you don't have to copy your numbers out every day. Belt clip is a problem, after a week or so it does not grip the pedometer very securely. At all. Numerous drop-outs. I've just improvised a friction fit with a rubber band, and that seems to work a ton better. Wrap the band so that it lies flat between the clip and the back of the pedometer -- you'll have to let it twist as it runs around back through the belt area. Snap the pedometer in, and it stays. You could also hold it in with blu-tack or a tiny blob of rubber cement maybe. ... It wasn't enough. Lost the device shortly after writing the previous review. Liked it well enough to replace it -- once. This time it's on a leash made from a short loop of dental floss. (Make sure your knot won't slip out when pulled; floss is slick material.)

Keep track of miles and/or steps with no bells or whistles or internet
I recently lost my pedometer and had to replace it. No bells or whistles with this model. No internet connection needed. Just a battery. Apparently, I'd had my prior Omron pedometer since about 2014 and used it every day. The clip on the lanyard broke and I lost it. This lets me keep track of how many miles I walk in a day.

Simple, low cost, and reliable gadget
Low cost and excellent performance. It is very simple to set up, extremely light weight, small footprint, and records steps accurately. Just drop it in your pocket and forget about it. I only use it for walks and it is very accurate, within a foot. The main source of discrepancy is in how you measure your stride (step). Since the stride changes with velocity, think of the figure as an average plus or minus a small difference with the measured length (true length of the circuit). An adjustment of just one inch gave me the exact same figures (device, circuit) so be aware of this. The device resets itself automatically every day and allows for up to 7 days history plus today (total of 8 days). Converts steps to distance and has a clock (not a stopwatch, just a clock), so if you want time you have to either bring a stopwatch or record start / finish time. You may select miles or kilometers. Extremely useful. If you are having separate sessions just record the initial steps count and/or miles/kilometer count and the substract from it.

Simple, Affordable, and Easy to Use Step/Distance Tracker
There's a plethora of fancy-schmacy sleep and fitness trackers to choose from these days, but sometimes all you really need is a basic pedometer. People with real health challenges, like myself, don't need a device on their wrist to tell them they don't sleep well or tell them how many flights of stairs they can't climb. With the mobility limitations of my Parkinson's and Degenerative Disc Disease, all I really need is a tangible way to know how much I've moving each day, so I can improve a little each day. The Omron HJ-320 Tri-Axis Pedometer fits the bill quite nicely. Wish I'd bought one sooner! It's pretty simple to set up, with one important caveat. Make sure you synchronize the time correctly to AM or PM on set-up, otherwise your steps and distance reading will rollover at NOON instead of MIDNIGHT and throw your daily tallies off. Use the instructions to measure your own personal stride for accuracy as well. I have a short stride, which means it takes me quite a few more steps to reach a mile than other people. No wonder it felt like I was working harder! All in all, I've found the OMRON brand to be a worthy go-to for health meters, always dependable, user friendly, and just the best all-around value. I can whole-heartedly recommend the HJ-320 Tri-Axis Pedometer, if you don't need all the bells and whistles of a higher end fitness tracker.

Easy to use, easy to lose!
The Omron HJ-320 pedometer was exactly what I wanted. I didn't need bells and whistles, and this model provides plenty of information. I liked the memory feature. I also liked that I could check my activity in both the number of steps I took and in miles. The original set-up was easy, even for a granny like me. The little screen was easy to read. The pedometer recorded accurately, even when I just tucked it into a pocket rather than using the clip. I liked mine so well that I got one for my handicapped husband. Because his mobility is severely limited, his did not record well until we clipped it to his shoe, where it worked fine. It was remarkable how this little gadget motivated him to do more walking! Unfortunately, the clips are not infallibly secure. I lead a fairly active life, and from time to time I needed to check that my pedometer was not slipping out of the slot which holds it on the clip. It ended up that we both lost our pedometers because they became detached without our realizing it. My next pedometer will definitely be an Omron, but I will look for a lanyard-style model that can be worn around the neck, or a wristwatch style.

Works great, tracks relatively accurate. Measures in steps and kilometres (or miles), keeps data for a week. Fairly easy setup, and it's small enough to fit in any of my pockets so it doesn't have to show.

I bought this to use with a weight loss app and it was important for me to do a set amount of steps a day. This is so a curate as you have to first measure your stride and enter it in to the pedometer. It also tells you how many miles or kilometers you have walked and a clock. So easy to use. I wear it every day just clip it on to my belt trousers or even on to my bra and it never falls off.

Great pedometer for the price - very easy to set up , small fits easily in pocket -seems accurate when checked on walking track once you get your stride right - if you just want to keep track of distance and don't want to be bothered hooking up to apps and Internet this one is for you
