Does this product actully make your lips look fuller/plump? I have only heard oabout the moisturizing effect.

The moisturizer affect helps remove tiny wrinkles in lips due to dehydration. Do not actually plump lips. It is the best lip moisturizer for lips I have ever used.

The tube states that there is "sun protection" and titanium dioxide sunscreen is listed as an ingredient.  what is the spf rating of the lip luster?

Hello dear customer,

Thank you for the question. The lip luster has an SPF of approximately 15 since it contains only titanium oxide. We are not marketing the lip luster as a product for full spectrum sun protection. We are striving to keep the product as natural as possible and currently the majority of the sunscreens on the market with full UVA and UVB protection are chemical based, except for mineral based sunscreens such as zinc-oxide and titanium oxide.

We have had to strike a delicate balance with the addition of titanium oxide in the lip luster as you might already know that mineral based sunscreens tend to result in a white residue on the skin and such high amounts would take away from the other hydrating and anti-aging properties of the lip luster. Also of note, many European countries and even Hawaii have banned the use of chemical sunscreens due to concerns of damage to the coral reefs and concerns of the chemicals being absorbed in the body.

If you want full sun-protection and not the anti-aging properties of hyaluronic acid, we recommend that you purchase a lip balm with SPF 50+ on the packaging to ensure that you get full protection. Is this product supposed to help with vertical lip lines?

With the natural ingredients it is made of it can be used to help moisturize lips and help with the vertical lip lines.

Why are there only 2 organic ingredients amongst the 16 other ingredients?  Are you allowed to call it organic with so little that is?

What does organic beauty mean?

"In order to be considered organic, a product must be [made with] at least 95% synthetic-free ingredients." The use of the word organic is highly regulated by the FDA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and Fair Packaging and Labeling Act.

I didn't look at the ingredients of this product just now to know if this product supported the "organic beauty" definition or not.
