Some knob learning necessary
This is a great convection/toaster oven. I little larger than expected due to the small space on the counter. Remember to include the space needed on the top and sides of the unit because it does get very hot. I just made the minimum recommendation for safety specs. It is very easy to clean and the unit being entirely stainless steel is even better. There is some learning necessary for the operation of the knobs. It is not cut and dry as far as turning on, pick the temperature and time. Plus, there is no "off" control. When the unit is finished toasting/baking/broiling, etc., it will go off on its own after two minutes of non-use. The selection of cooking choices and temperature settings were a little tricky at first, but after about a frustrating 15-20 min., I got it to work and didn't know how I did it. Try and try again. I decided to read the direction in the booklet (duh!), then I got it. Have a little patience because once learned you will love this toaster/convection oven. I do think that the design for time/temperature and cooking selection could be slightly easier, but I'm not an engineer so that's out of my league. Don't let this keep you from purchasing it. If things really get frustrating, e-mail the company and they respond very quickly. They get an A+++++++ for customer care. David explained some things to me about the timing/temperature controls, which helped a lot, and was extremely open about not hesitating to contact the company again if I have additional questions. What??? In these times of customer care nightmares that we go through everyday with our electronic toys, I will say that this was a very, very pleasant and welcomed surprise...Thank You Convection Works and David. And, if you need an additional wire rack, you can request it through the company. I only gave 4 stars in the Temperature control category because of the slight frustration in getting to learn about the cooking choices and temperature. Oh! Another thought! No tick-tock noise while cooking, or explosive sounding bells when it's finished cooking. It is also a very nice design. That you will also like very much. This unit popped up on Amazon after months and months of measuring and trying to find something that had most of my demands - mostly space, but all failed for one reason or another. I'm glad I waited. Thank You.

Compact but all the features of bigger ones plus 1500 W!
My husband and I like the size of the oven, to fit comfortably under the upper kitchen cabinets and we also really like the modern design of it and the materials used. It has many features, otherwise only found on bigger convection ovens; like enough room for a whole chicken or a roast or a pot of soup. We have only one big oven in our kitchen, this new appliance works really fine for everyday use to a retired couple. It saves energy and helps out perfectly with more elaborate menus for several guests. The ConvectionWorks oven heats up quickly and works as described. I baked two small loaves of bread, grilled vegetables, and steamed fish in parchment paper. Everything turned out perfect! The use of the control knobs needs some time to get acquainted with, as well as the fact that the oven shuts off automatically after two minutes. We considered this as brain teasing. I took the advice from other users and checked the goods shortly before the estimated baking time. Usually, I had to add some more minutes to see it perfectly cooked. Overall I can say, that we are really, very happy to have purchased this oven from Convection Works! It stands out from many similar toaster or convection models and was only to be found through the internet at Amazon, nowhere else. We fully recommend it to other buyers and wish it to become more popular!

Great little oven!
I had a Cuisinart convection oven that I really loved, but it finally died of old age and I needed to replace it. I was looking for an oven that didn't have a toxic non-stick interior and this is one of the few brands that have a pure metal interior. What I love: - The size. It's a little bigger than my Cuisinart but still small enough to fit in my tiny kitchen. - The interior is big enough to fit a standard size baking tray. - It looks good and is really easy to clean. - It cooks beautifully. Unlike my old Cuisinart, it heats evenly so I don't have to move food around to get an even broil or bake. What I don't like: - It arrived with a dent in the top. Not noticeable enough to return it but noticeable enough to knock off a star. This indicates poor quality control. - The interior rack is a little flimsy and can tip if you're not careful when pulling it out. - The controls and timer are preset. This is not a huge issue but I like to select a temperature and then stick food in the oven until it's done. Now I have to turn the oven back on after it turns itself off. All in all I love this oven and would highly recommend it. Kudos to the manufacturer for not using non-stick materials.

So easy to use!
I am in love with this new addition to my kitchen! This oven offers so many functions and has a roomy enough interior to allow for all kinds of cooking, baking, roasting and more. The intelligent cooking presets are really convenient as well. With the turn of a dial, it’s super easy to pick from 10 cooking functions. I’ve been using the toaster just about daily and it’s perfect for the mornings when I’m in a rush. My pizza comes out flawless with the peperoni at just the right crisp! While I’ve never tried to rotisserie a chicken before, this oven makes it look easy with all the tools you need plus it’s a preset! Let’s do this. As far as appearance, the beautiful stainless steel looks great with my matching appliances and although it’s spacious on the inside, the oven (which is also pretty lightweight), it doesn’t take up too much space on my countertop. Another huge advantage of this oven is the accessories that it comes with! In addition to essentials like a convenient crumb tray, rotisserie spit and rods, and a oven safe rack handle, it also comes with a beautiful cutting board and 2 silicone pot holders. This oven is a must for cooks of all levels because it’s so easy to use plus it offers so much!!

Apperates as advertised.
Shortcomings are; Black paint on top off cabinet will be easily scratched by any stored items, wire rack too flimsy and tines too far apart for broiling burgers, rod forks need 4 spikes each, baking tray could be larger. In addition, Reheat and Defrost functions really not necessary since low Warm temperatures provided can be used.

LOVE this new convection/toaster oven!
Love that the interior is NOT non-stick, so no worries about toxic fumes. It's modern, shiny, very nice looking--even my teenaged son likes it's looks! LED display is easy to understand, and the two control dials are so simple to use. When you plug it in, LED display illuminates. You turn the top dial to select a "pre-set" cooking program, which is nothing more than a particular temperature and time/duration combination. We use "Cookies" most of the time (350 degrees for 11 minutes) but have never baked cookies! Once you've selected a pre-set option, then you move to the lower dial to adjust the temperature and/or time, if, for example, you'd rather your "cookies" bake for 15 minutes instead of 11. The timer counts down and beeps when complete. We LOVE this feature because the oven shuts off automatically after the selected number of minutes elapses; we believe this will save us some power usage. The oven cooks evenly and faster than our old one. The accessories are very nice quality. We purchased during Prime Deal Days and used a bunch of points to make the purchase easier on our budget. We hope it lasts years, as did our old one. Highly recommend!

Disappointed with this oven
I had a Wally world $54. Breville toaster oven that my son and I used daily for various cooking jobs and it performed its little heart out. When it finally died I tried to find a maybe larger one to do more chores and read all the reviews of many brands. I finally settled on ConvectionWorks Hi Q convection thinking the convection should cook somewhat faster. The ONLY thing that this machine cooked well was toast. All the other functions fell short badly time-wise, temperature wise, etc. No matter how many adjustments, time..shelf placement..temperature..nothing I cooked has turned out properly. I get food that burns on the bottom and raw on top and takes FOREVER. If I cook frozen biscuits I have to stop midway and turn them over or the bottom burns, but either way the middle isn't cooked through. As I stated, I have tried adjusting all the functioning factors to accomplish my goal. Tater Tots..raw in the middle...Not a happy camper. When convectionWorks sent a request for a good review, I told them..even gave them my phone # but silence was the answer. Lots of stuff included with this over unnecessary and added to cost..The could had used money to improve oven itself.

Non stick interior. Excellent!
A few minor issues: the interior rack is too lightweight and doesn't fit the tracks properly. If it were heavier gauge and/or the tracks were a tighter fit for the rack, the rack wouldn't fall out of the track so quickly. I luckily caught a hot dish sliding off when I pulled the rack out. I know better now, but the rack tilts downward too much/doesn't fit right/awkward removing items. Toasting takes a bit longer than a standard toaster, but works fine. And I unplug it since it's always "ON" sucking power (you can hear it). I find there's not much perfection out there though and prefer a non-stick interior & good size oven that does the job. For us, it's great! On the plus side, other than the non-stick interior (a big A+), it's large, works well for baking, warming, etc., it looks good, and the controls are easy to use.
