Vanilla Bay Signature Racerback Maxi Dress

I found a similar dress on one of my favorite clothing sites but it was sold out, so I searched high and low for a dress just like it. I found this and took a chance on an Amazon seller and ended up being super happy with it. I love the weight and springiness of the material. I ordered my normal size and it fit perfectly, though the waist band has little give if you're wider in that area (it popped a little as I pulled it over my head, so be careful). It's as comfortable as pajamas and can be dressed up with a nice necklace or dressed down with a casual hairdo. I wore it to two different winter parties as two completely different looks, and the material is thick enough that I wasn't freezing. Plus it has pockets! Highly recommend.

I love this dress. It's comfortable, not see through and just right for fall. I have never tried the racer back in anything other than a swimsuit, and always thought it would be (like the swimsuit) uncomfortable. However, I found this to be anything but uncomfortable. My only for not giving a five star rating, is because of the waist and top. The skirt is generous and flowing in material. The waist is VERY specific in its cut. You either fit in it or you don't (no give in this area). In my opinion, the maker would have done better to put elastic in the waist instead of an stretchable seam. The top itself is made of the same soft stretchy fabric as the skirt. However, in my opinion, this dress is not made for anyone of a bustier stature. More room could have been given.

This dress is my favorite grab-and-go. I just switched to the racer back dress from the strapless dress and I love it. It fits well on top and is so comfortable! It does sit a little wide at my hips (I think because of how to pockets sit), but it is comfortable and cute. Can be casual or can be dressed up with jewelry and a cute jacket. The material is like a cotton t shirt - very comfortable. I will definitely buy it in more colors!

Pros: Great quality for the price! Material was not too thin and see through at all. Blue color was vibrant - I loved it. Pockets don't add too much extra bulge in the hip area. Beautiful dress. Cons: Not made for someone with a large chest...I am 5'3, weigh 155 and wear size medium tops and 8 bottoms. My chest is a 38DDD and the seam for the waist stopped about 2 inches above the bottom of my chest (it's too short). This made for an unflattering side view and no shape. I can't order a size larger because the actual body of the dress (not the top part) fit perfectly. Of course, at 5'3 the dress was about 3 to 4 inches too long, but I expected that (I had planned to get it hemmed). Unfortunately, do to the lack of chest room, I had to return.

Soft fabric. Fits beautifully. The fabric is slightly thin so it will need a slip underneath. The upper portion of the dress has a layer underneath it, but the fabric should have been extended throughout the dress, then it would not required a slip. Can be worn informally or to wedding or party Either way, it’s a very beautiful dress.

This dress is nice however it is meant for a giant I got a medium Nd I usually even wear a large it is huge!The material is cheap this is not worth 35 dollars!

Very comfortable and flattering. Love the design! A little long for me at 5’3” but with heels or wedges just fine.

Love the dress. It's thin, not see-through, but when it's stretched a little it is. The only thing I dislike about this dress is the placement of the pockets. They sit way too low so it looks a little awkward.
