This mount worked really well with our TV! One of things I love most is being able to adjust the angle easily so I can watch from different areas of my home. It's been a huge space saver, too! Mounting the TV freed up a lot of floor space which makes a big difference in my smaller living area. The installation was pretty straightforward. It wasn't too complicated but if you're not comfortable doing it on your own, I'd recommend getting help. I think it can feel a little overwhelming for a first timer. All the mounting hardware was included which I appreciated. You can't adjust the height of the TV with this particular mount but that wasn't a dealbreaker for me. I was mainly looking for something that could swivel between directions and it does that perfectly. It feels sturdy and well made so far. I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for an affordable wall mount!

Super easy to install. Works great on my 55” tv, even though I thought it wouldn’t be heavy duty enough. It surprised me how sturdy it is. Everything you need for install is included. So it’s definitely worth the price.

I've installed a few TV mounts like this before, some better than others. The best one was for a pretty heavy 60" TV that I lagged into a wall stud. It was about $50 I think but installation was very well thought out by the designers, every adjustment was super easy to make, and when I was done I swear I could do pull-ups on it. A couple of less expensive ones have been adequate but harder to install and/or not quite as sturdy. I didn't expect much from this mount but I needed something in a hurry to mount a big, old TV for a couple of family members that were moving into a new place and needed it done RIGHT NOW. I measured the TV and bought the first mount I saw that would support the weight and arrive in time for me to install it. It turned out to be this one. I always screw these mounts into a wall stud. Plastic anchors are OK for a couple of things but not, in my opinion, for TV mounts. If you swivel the TV around much (to plug in cables or whatever), the anchors can wallow out their mounting holes and loosen up. Fortunately this mount came with beefy screws that will hold onto a wall stud through anything short of an earthquake. Good thing it comes with 4 of these screws because I ended up breaking one off while installing it. Yes, I drilled a pilot hole. No, I wasn't over-torqueing it. The head just popped off. Perhaps I screwed it into a knot or something. Luckily the mount only requires 2 screws, and none of the others gave me any problems. I used a stud finder to locate a stud, used the included template to mark the location, and screwed the articulating arm to the wall. After leveling everything I tightened the screws. I then attached the mount to the back of the TV and hoisted the TV and mount onto the articulating arm. This is the part where you need three hands (or an assistant). While holding the TV, you need to screw in one of the two screws that holds the mount to the arm. I managed to hold the TV up with my arm and shoulder while putting the screw in, but this ended up looking like something a trapeze artist would pull off. It got a bit dicey. Enlist help if at all possible because the arm tends to move around on you. In my case I used a clamp and a block of wood to keep the arm from moving around but I would've 100% asked for help if I could've. Long story short, I managed not to drop the TV. Final adjustments were a snap and the TV is pretty solidly held in place. Aside from the juggling act required to install the TV solo, this is a way better mount than I was expecting for $20. I have yet another TV to install soon (the list of favors never ends...) and I may buy another one of these (and get help hanging it).

Works great. Has a very excellent range of motion and very smooth movement. The only thing i wish it did have was the ability to change the height of the tv however every other form of placement is excellent. I did hire someone to install it but after I watched him do it I felt so foolish because it really wasn't that difficult but it's also due to my anxiety and depression that overwhelmed me into thinking I needed help. Of course many things need to be taken into account when deciding on who/how to install. Experience, calm and rational thought, ability to use tools, access to tools, patience, size and weight of materials in question. I'm sure there's more but that's it for the most part. Personal note: not at all reflecting on this product. I was actually put on the spot on where on the wall to put it (first ever wall bracketed tv ive had) I suggest you take the time beforehand to sit where/how you would normally watch the TV and see what height is most comfortable for you. Sitting then lower as opposed to lying down then higher placement as well as distance from wall you will be watching from. Unfortunately I put it too high (found out its not uncommon) and it strains my neck when watching so i tend to have to stand or lean the recliner back. Well, now I think about it. I should probably try to move the chair further back but not much room and poor eye sight. :( again personal error and no reflection on the product.

I use this to successfully mount an old 40" TV to a sheetrock wall with wood studs. This is a well made mounting bracket. Sturdy. I don't have any concerns that it will hold my heavy 40" LCD TV just fine. The included directions are a bit squirrely but after glancing over them a few times I was able to figure out that I needed to know, which was mostly how to correctly attach the extension arms to handle 400x400 mounting. I ended up screwing the mounting arm to the wall, the VESA mounting plate to the TV, and then had 2 people hold the TV while I re-attached the mounting plate to the mounting arm. All of the parts are pretty well labeled an the kit comes with a variety of metric screws to fit different TVs. This even comes with a small level although I did not use it. I used a much longer level. I would use a larger, beefier mount for anything larger than a 40" TV, although this is rated for up to a 55" screen. Anyhow, great kit, great price, I would buy this again for a 40" or smaller TV.

Now, I'm an Army veteran (Fort Sill, Fort Sam, Fort Leonard Wood – you get the picture), so I've assembled a few things in my day. Tents, weapons, the occasional regrettable IKEA furniture piece… you name it. But when it comes to TV mounts, usually it's a battle royale between me, an instruction manual written by an alien, and a collection of tiny screws that seem to multiply when I'm not looking. Not with this bad boy! I swear, this was the easiest mount I've ever installed. I'm talking "took less time than brewing my morning coffee" easy. My wife was still on her first cup, and by the time she asked if I needed help, I was already admiring the perfectly leveled screen. I even had time to offer her a hand with her finishing her donut. The instructions? Crisp. The hardware? Organized. They even throw in a magnetic bubble level and cable ties, which is like finding twenty bucks in your old uniform pocket. Honestly, I half-expected my youngest to wander in and finish the job while I was contemplating the existential dread of laundry. The tilt and swivel features are smooth as butter, allowing me to find that perfect angle from anywhere in our home. No more neck craning! If you're dreading the TV mounting process, if you've got a history of throwing wrenches (or just throwing in the towel), do yourself a favor. Get the Suptek. It's so user-friendly, it practically installs itself. My only regret is I didn't get this when my oldest was born; think of all the perfectly angled baby videos I could have shown! This mount doesn't just hold your TV; it holds your sanity. A definite five stars!

Habe die Wandhalterung an einem 42" TV montiert. Passte alles bestens. Die Gelenke haben nur wenig Spiel, so das kein übermäßiger Wackel Effekt entsteht. Die Verstellmöglichkeiten sind mehr als ausreichend. Aussagen nach schief stehenden TV's aus anderen Bewertungen konnte ich nicht nachvollziehen. Natürlich bleibt eine Schwingneigung konstruktionsbedingt vorhanden. Auch ist eine leichte Änderung des Winkels (wie bei allen Halterungen dieser Bauart) möglich. Wer das nicht möchte muss nicht einen anderen Hersteller sondern eine andere, deutlich aufwändigere Bauart (mit anderen Einschränkungen) auswählen. Bei den mitgelieferten Dübeln handelt es sich um Standard Dübel. Sie sind daher z.B. für Hohlblock Ziegel oder YTONG wenig bis gar nicht geeignet und werden sich unter Umständen immer wieder lösen ! Wichtig ist die senkrechte Montage der Wandhalterung. Wer dazu mehrere Löcher bohren muss, sollte vielleicht jemanden mit mehr handwerklichem Geschick und/oder technischem Verständnis beauftragen. Meine Empfehlung: 1. Nur ein Loch (oben) bohren und Halterung festschrauben. 2. Halterung mit Wasserwaage lotrecht ausrichten. Dabei Wasserwaage wenden um Fehljustierung der Libelle erkennen zu können. 3. Durch die montierte Halterung mit einem kleinen Bohrer das zweite Loch bohren. Dann bei Verwendung der Dübel Halterung lösen und Loch aufbohren. Halterung wieder festschrauben, Lot kontrollieren. 4. Gleiches Spiel mit der 3. Befestigungsschraube.
