Second Grade Big Fun Workbook: Second Grade Curriculum Workbook for Kids, Practice Math, Reading, Writing, Spelling, Science and More

My daughter's teacher had sent us a PDF of another workbook that we used over the summer and my daughter really didn't like having to do it. Once that one was done I ordered this book and she really loves it. It's colorful and there's a nice mix of activities. There's a minimal amount of work on most pages so she doesn't feel overwhelmed or bored with any of the lessons. I think it's probably just about right for anyone going into 2nd grade - nothing too hard but it's good for keeping their minds sharp over weekends, summer break, or remote learning. We'll definitely buy her the 3rd grade version when the time comes.

This book is awesome . My son has learnt a lot and also topics that he is learning at school , I am able to use this book to reinforce what he learnt . This book is appropriate for second graders . It may seem like a lot of topics but it covers what they learn at school.

Good for spending 10-20 minutes a day doing activities. They also have cursive handwriting practice.

I make my son work on 1-2 different sections each day. Some find the objects activities are really tough- even for me as a full grown adult, But overall the workbook has some really cool concepts of comprehension, crossword puzzle, spellings, maths- addition, subtraction, multiplication, adding up coins, looking at a clock etc., shapes, < > =. I like it overall.

My grandchildren love these workbooks, great price and lots of lessons. Age appropriate and fun for them.

We absolutly love this workbook. As a homeschool family I am always looking for fun ways for my children to learn. My son really loved the highlight magazines so he was very excited when we received this. The workbook has tons of different “subjects” and is making a great supplement curriculum for fun and learning. There are bright colors and silly characters throughout the workbooks. I looked further and it’s great that they come in different grade levels. The price level is great and level with other workbooks of this size. I would recommend this workbook to anyone looking for a fun way to learn.

Bought this for my granddaughter and she loved it. All the different activities kept her busy while still learning and refreshing what she already knew. Highly recommend this and all Highlights products.

Great resource for practicing math and reading skills when not in school.

Very reading heavy which is good if your kid needs practice with that.

It’s nice work book for grade 2. Has a lot of fun activities so the child will not get bored.
