Works well
This was supposed to be a replacement for a rechargeable unit, but instead takes 2 batteries. But that turns out to be a good thing. This one is easier to work with and more dependable than the rechargeable unit. But I have to say that the company seems a little flakey. They were supposed to send me a replacement unit under warranty. Called several times. Never came. The descriptions and product model numbers are, at best, confusing. But I’m quite happy with the unit and I guess that’s finally what matters.

Easy Setup
Just got this and charging time for the remote module was short. Like so many products now, it came with a charging cord but the buyer has to supply the charging block.Pairing the two was simple enough as was setting the module so that it hung in a covered place that wouldn't be in direct sunlight. It should be noted that while the remote sensor is supposed to be weatherproof and cold resistant, it is stated that it should be under cover or where free exposure to rain, etc is minimized. The remote can be hung by string, or on a screw. You'll want to make it easy to remove for recharging. It can also be layed flat as long as bottom vents for moisture are oriented properly..The base itself is larger than the unit it's replacing and there are two things I'd change if I could:First, the angle that the base sits is too upright so that if you look at it while standing close by it's a problem to read. It can be hung, I know, but the place I have it doesn't make that a viable option.Second, my old unit was touch sensitive and one could just touch the screen at the right spot and it illuminated, going out after a short period of time. This unit requires you to push a hard button that turns the light on or off.It does a good job with in/outside temps and humidity plus it displays barometric pressure as well. The display seems a bit cluttered at first but it's easy to get used to.We'll see how long the remote battery charge lasts as well as the AAA batteries for the base.

Love this!
I have used the ThermoPro TP53 at home and at work to monitor indoor temperature and humidity and love them. But I wanted to track barometric pressure, too, so I bought the ThermoPro TP67B. I put the outdoor detector up and synced it to the indoor module, easy. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. And now I have both indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. The display is easy to read; I haven't even needed to use the backlight option, but it has that. I don't know what kind of voo-doo it uses for the weather prediction feature, but it has been surprisingly accurate. I am very happy with it.

Not able to do what I wanted to get done; humidity reading inconsistent
I bought this unit because I want to monitor the temperature in an outbuilding 85 yards (255 feet) from the house. That's well within the 330 foot range specified in the product description, but the unit was not able to maintain contact with the remote sensor. There's an unobstructed line-of-sight, but there are two panes of glass involved; one is the window of the outbuildng, the other the window of the house. At any rate, since it doesn't do what I need to do, I'm returning it, but I will say that it's a nice unit; the build quality is good and it's dead easy to use. I did notice that with the sensor sitting right beside the base unit, the humidy readings sometimes differ by as much as 6 percentage points. The other noticeable drawback, at least for me, is that the base station cycles through all three remote sensor channels even after you set it to monitor the channel you want it to monitor, and even though there's only one sensor out there. I would think the unit would be programmed to pick up on that after a while. So the three-star rating is for good build quality, lack of ability to hit the stated range, inconsistency of the humidity reading and scanning the remote channels when I don't want it to do so.

Faulty products and non-existent customer service
I ordered 2 of the Thermopro TP67 Weather Stations and 2 of the Thermopro TX-5 remote sensors. One of the TP67 Weather Stations did not work correctly right out of the box. The LCD display did not show complete numbers . Several of the numbers on different parts of the display did not work. No problem, I returned it to Amazon and received another one that did work correctly. I'm using both displays in 2 different room and both are reading the same 3 different remote sensors. At first I had the sensors in 3 different locations and everything was good. On the second night the remote sensor that was outdoors where the temperature was suppose to reach freezing (32 deg F) quit sending the outside temperature to the displays. The humidity display still worked for that sensor. In the morning when the temperature reached 38 deg the temp display began to work again for the outdoor sensor. The next evening I put all 3 remote sensors outdoors. The low temperature was forecast to be near freezing again that evening. When I woke up and checked the display none of the temperatures were shown but the humidity still worked for all 3. I decided to call Thermopro support today around 2:30 pm CST. The recording says their support is available from 8 am to 8 pm EST . I was on hold for 20 minutes all the while listening to suggestions on how to fix several common problems with different type thermometers. at the 20 minute mark of being on hold the message changed to tell me that they are now closed and i should call back tomorrow. I guess support wanted to go home early and left me hanging. I'm going to return all that I can. I did not save the original boxes for one of the Weather Stations and one of the TX-5 remote sensors so i guess I'm out of luck. What good is an outdoor thermometer that quits working near 32 degrees F? Not much. This coupled with the lack of support and waiting on hold 20 minutes to then be told support is closed even though I'm well within the hours of operation for support. Save your money and don't purchase anything that Thermopro makes.

Good range , reading only so-so
Great range and accuracy and cool how it auto cycles between 3 sensors.Just wish a little easier to read the “minus sign” and decimal points.
