Barchetta ST Electric Guitar, White

I bought this Barchetta after owning 2 other DBZ Boleros, which I also gave the same review. All the DBZ guitars made in Korea that I have are of the same consistant high quality. You buy this guitar, and I am assured that you will become addicted to DBZ like me.I have been playing guitar for 30 years professionally, at an adept level.I also studied some Luthier aspects of craftsmanship & repair of both acoustic & electric guitars. I do know a good guitar vs. junk.A PROPERLY fitted neck & good tone wood is Key to a great guitar. From my experience I am sad to say some very well known & expensive made in the USA Set-Neck guitar Brands (You know who) are just not made with care like they were decades ago.Let me say that the DBZ Barchetta that I bought is an incredible guitar made in KOREA. The finish is flawless, and although I prefer a thin natural finish like true Nitrocellulose, the urethane on this DBZ is not too thick or thin, is beautiful & does not strangle the tone.The resonance of this guitar is excellent. The neck must be properly fitted into the body with a quality Mahogany because it has a great resonant mahogany nasally sound unplugged with very good sustain, and I feel every part of this guitar vibrate with tone from the bridge, body through the entire neck & headstock! It is a solid body set-neck guitar, and mine only weighs only a few ounces over 7 Lbs. indicating properly aged & dried Mahogany.The fret-board, and fret work is perfect, and the Diamond inlays have zero visible fill around them.The neck is perfectly flat, straight, and I can get the lowest action on this guitar with zero fret buzz up & down the full scale of frets.The neck at the joint to the body is just slightly angled to follow the strings at an even height along the fret board ! Perfect! Why don't other guitar Brands have this simple design feature?The Grover Tuners & ABR type Bridge are top-notch.Do NOT let the price fool you, this is a professional level guitar, and equal to my other ESP guitars made in Japan!I thought I would need to change the pickups, however they are very versatile, sound great, and have the Split-coil Push-pull tap for brighter tones also.The guitars being produced lately in Korea for DBZ are just phenomenal. This guitar would sell for over $2,000 easy if made in the USA & stamped with a different Brand on the headstock. I feel like I have stolen this guitar for the price & excellent quality!Based on my experience, stay away from the ones made in China, that have lesser craftsmanship, heavy tone-dead wood, and just overall not nearly as good. Do that & you just can not go wrong with DBZ.
