Good tool for visually oriented learners.
Teaching my kid numbers places and basic arithmetic. This is working great for a very visually oriented learner. We pull it out while playing Monopoly or Payday. It's not super sturdy or durable, but you can't beat the price. It won't survive typical play from any young child, but it's not really for play.

Great for a 5 year olds hands
Falls easily but was delivered intact and not broken like some other reviewers did. My 5 year old loves it and uses it everyday with his math! It’s small but great for pre-k and Kinder

Great little Abacus!
It's small and cute. I use it to count Kegel exercises, and it works very well.

Kids Abacus- GARBAGE
Piece of garbage. Unstable. Fell apart. Weak construction. Had to repair it properly. Poor quality. Poor workmanship. Not even worth the $7 paid. Multi negative star rating if possible. You have to put one star. The only reason why it is rated 1.
User
Good, but expect that they’ll need repairs at some point
Perfect size for my 2nd graders! Great value for teacher Budget. Not sure what happened when the substitute was there that day, but I suspect it wasn’t used as it was supposed to be used. Came apart & beads were everywhere, several units had to be glued back together. Was fixed, but it took patience & skill. I’d actually order again if I needed more though, because they are the perfect size for our desks and not as distracting and loud as the bigger traditional size. Of course the students prefer the bigger units- these are only chosen when the big units are out. NOT for toddlers!!!!

Broken easily
Poor quality

Pleasantly Surprised
This is a very well-made abacus for children to learn some basic math skills on. It is well made, the colors are bright, cheerful (and non-toxic) and the wood was well finished. Very much worth the money.
User
Small, inexpensive, sturdy
It’s small in a good way, easy to use but doesn’t add clutter. One bead was glued down and it took pliers to free but that was an easy fix. For the price I’m very happy with it!I gave it to my 4yr old niece and we use it talk about numbers. Using it she figured out how to count by tens on her own!
