These things are great. Unfortunately they are not for industrial use, and they can be a bit fussy to use depending on the type of can being opened. I have two of them and they are my go-to choice. I recommend them to anyone who is willing to deal with their fussy quirks.

Nice little "safety" opener. Manual operation with a push button release. Works well once you get used to it but the lid can be tricky to release. Small size works great in my tiny kitchen, it uses about 1/4 of space as a regular mechanical can opener. Cute color. Good value. Would be a great item for college dorms or camping

DO NOT GET THIS!! I saw an online cook using it and I liked how compact it was so I got it. Well, it cuts the lid from the side which seemed ok until you realize that cans are thin and the structural integrity of the can is where the two rigid ends are. Cut one partially and the lid moves away from the can so it is no longer a cylinder. If the can has liquid in it, you are now compressing the sides of the can and the juice squeezes out. I am going back to my old faithful “Swing-away”. Wish they would return this but I have been fighting with it for too long at this point.

The product worked well—for about 45 days, it was awesome. Loved the small design and easy action. After that, it stopped attaching to the can, making it completely unusable. Since it was past Amazon’s 30-day return window, I contacted the seller directly. They claimed to offer a 1-year return/exchange policy, but instead of helping, they told me to deal with Amazon myself. Amazon, in turn, pointed me back to the seller, saying they couldn’t assist beyond the 30 days. All I asked for was a simple $12 replacement. Instead of resolving the issue quickly, the seller made things unnecessarily difficult—and ultimately didn’t send a replacement at all. Buy with caution. If you only need it to work for 45 days, go for it. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
