Good product, universal fit, be prepared to modify to fit your application.
I installed these on Lifetime/Emotion Guster recreational kayaks, took about one hour total. I agree with the other reviews regarding the included instructions. Just throw them away. For those complaining about the difficulty of install or how the instructions mislead them. This is a modification to your kayak, be prepared to modify both your kayak and the rod holder for your specific application. I drilled a 2 inch whole, then made it oblong with a rotary tool, had to remove some excess plastic tabs on the underside of the rod holder, and finally for fit and finish I used a heat gun to contour the rod holders to the shape of my kayaks hull. I opted for machine nuts and bolts over the included rivets. They look factory installed and seem super sturdy. Will likely order 2 more for the other side of each kayak.

Works great
Easy to install and reasonable cost. Installed on grandsons new kayak.Much cheaper than buying a “fishing kayak” that had the rod holders installed.

Great addition to my Kayak
Have an inexpensive no thrills kayak that was in need of the rod holder. Install was pretty easy with a deadbolt bit. Only challenge was making some room in the styrofoam of the boat.

Good product but did not use
Received but decided not to use. Going to use on a Pescador 12.0. Yak fits much better due to spacing on the holes. This looks to be a good product though.

Kayak Fishing Rod Holder
I picked up three of these for my families kayaks. My two sons and I installed these into our kayaks and they worked out real well.

Now we have a fishing kayak
Perfect fit for our kayak. We did buy some marine grade sealant to apply before fixing to the kayak.

Great product/Great price/Easy install..
Excellent quality/ easy install.. Like others have commented a 2 1/4 inch hole is the way to go.. I chose not to use the rivets by choice..

wrong item received
Like the product, ordered 2. However I received 2 different items. Both in packaging with the same part numbers. I want them to match. Returning the item that did not match the item description photo for a replacement.

Makes my kayak 100 times better. Have to get another one for the other side now! I just used a hole saw and a hand saw to install. Was fairly easy. Looks like the kayak came with it. 🤨

Fits well on a Pelican Peak 100X kayak. Alignment indents were already on the kayak to line it up perfect. Used a hole saw and drill bit for pilot holes. Now I have a fishing kayak and looks like a factory install. Also added a paddle clip holder on the side.

Easy to install on my sit on kayak and held my rod perfectly. I will order another for the other side. I did add silicone to make water tight seal.

Installed on my pelican kayak and it looks like it was manufactured with it to begin with. Great rod holder

Didn't give a 5-star rating just because there is no gasket. Used silicone and it worked great.
