What determines whether a plants flowers are fragrant? 5 star review
So 1st - so very pleasantly surprised at visuals on arrival. 20-ish buds ready, dark green leaves all of them and strong trunk - yay! Yes, giftable too at arrival. Pot was logo'd appropriately, dirt healthy, plant ready to bloom (purchased end of April 2024). Yes, they bloomed, and it is spectacular. I repotted it in a larger wheely bottom-watering pot on the patio, which gets about 4 hours direct sun in the morning/summer. It is water hungry. To those who have had issues growing and keeping alive, I feel for ya. It takes days to get used to what watering makes it happy, and what makes it unhappy. Once happy, the blooks spread like fireworks. I was unaware it was a miniature gardenia - no worries, I never knew there was such a thing. On our patio, it works that they are mini blooms even better! On the smell, as in other reviews, the smell of each flower is either very very weak, or not at all. I am not sure what determines that a plant has that huge aroma. Maybe "miniature gardenias" have no aroma naturally, I wouldn't know. I have only had a huge yard full-size gardenia bush about 7 foot tall I nursed for 20 years until I moved, and where each full-size bloom blew ya away with its lovely aroma. In a small-ish room or office they were just joyful! Mini-gardenias won't be that way. But again, what determines whether blooms on mini-gardenias have a smell from slight to not-at-all, when the blooms opened a week after arrival? Or is that determined at the moment that gardenia plant sprouted at the seller's/grower's? That might be affected after it arrives at purchaser's and before they bloom by water etc. What I do know is that this mini-gardenia, from this seller, April 2024, sent me a plant that visually was an incredibly healthy plant, lush green and round appearing happy, with so many blooms it was just incredible. I will buy from this seller again, and I am not sure it is fair to blame the seller at all if the bloom scent is scant-to-none, so I am clearing that rating. And will I be confident as of this first experience with this seller, that I can blindly gift these to others and they will arrive in similar healthy and no-disappointments condition? Absolutely. And a mention: It came thoughtfully and carefully packed in an appropriate box/markings and I was separately impressed that sellers shipping care was taken to that level of priority also.

Healthy and beautiful plan
I was very happy when I received my order. It more than I expected. I perched plant from Amazon two time before (not from this seller) and was disappointed both times. I told myself not to buy plants online anymore. But when I saw the picture of this plant I thought I would like to get it and try it one more time. I am so glad I did. The plant came quick enough it healthy looking plant with a lot of flowers buds on it. Every thing of this order, the size of the plant the price and the condition of the plant are all good. Thank you so much for selling the good quality item.

Beautiful, Healthy Plant
This is a beautiful plant and arrived in perfect condition even though it was on the road since Monday and it's Friday afternoon and it's been in a lot of heat. It was delivered to the right place but I didn't even know it was here so it could have endured even more heat. It's absolutely grand, large and a real bargain for $15.00. I'm very satisfied.

CONTAGIOUS BLIGHT
First clue something was wrong was when I found chewed leaves upon opening the box. There are other people with the same comments so I didn’t think anything of it. And that’s when it slowly but steadily deteriorated. First the chewed leaves started to turn brown and crisp. Then healthy leaves. I even consulted a specialist via my plant app I purchased (yes, I paid money for a plant app, and watch all the videos, and read all the articles to properly care for my plants. It’s quarantine). And that’s when they confirmed it had blight. However, they didn’t diagnose it w the proper type of blight (they’re doing it from a picture, so I don’t entirely blame them). The plants I had near the Gardenia were became infected and soon withered and decayed like my Gardenia - plants that had been thriving for months and months before I even purchased the gardenia. Also, might I add, the plants I managed to separate are still struggling to make a full recovery. Long story short, I’ve seen some success stories in the comments w this plant, but if I had known I was risking my other beautiful plants for this one, I would not have gone near the purchase button. Hope my bad experience helps you make an informed decision.

Will definitely recommend!!!
The package came pretty secured, I was most worried if the plant would be dried or damaged…nothing of that sort. It was a bit of wait for the plant to arrive but I am happy once I saw the plant. It came with 2 buds but they both fell off in few days may be due to the shock, but so far the plant looks healthy. 1 star less because this didn’t come with any instructions on repotting / fertilizing etc.

Beautiful healthy plant
Very nice full plant with a few buds. Perfect packaging! I received it 3 days ago and it is very healthy. I kept it inside for a day after unpacking and watered it. Second day I took it outside and gave it morning sun. Today it will receive morning and early afternoon sun. Tomorrow I will replant it in a location that provides afternoon shade. All should work out fine and I can‘t wait to smell the beautiful fragrance.

Purchased two gardenias, one is not healthy
I purchased two Jubilation gardenias in the same order. One looks great for a baby shrub. The other had brown flower buds when it arrived and over time has had all of its mature leaves turn brown and drop off. Both have been potted in the same containers and received the same light, water, soil, etc. Not sure if the second one is going to survive but I am going to give it a chance and see if it heals over time.

No flowers it’s been 5 months now. Don’t purchased any plants from them.
