The Usborne First Encyclopedia of Space

We bought this to follow along with Susan Wise Bauer's recommendations for 2nd grade science (from Well-Trained Mind). The only issue is that we've gone through most of the topics before. With all the books we've gotten from the library by the time 2nd grade hit we found these kind of boring. For a first encylopedia it works great - nice pictures, simple writing. For now, my 5 year old reads it for his science lesson and tells me something he read - my 7 year old is pretty bored with it.

This book is for my grandson - and looks like it will appeal to him - with easy large type and bite-sized pieces of information easily digestible with the added input of his parents.
