Suction is very strong and positioning tension holds exactly at the angle you place it. The light is bright enough considering it's battery powered. The size is perfect for framing up the portion of your face your focused upon and magnification level is exactly what is needed for working at about 8 inches distance. Its mount brings it about 4 inches away from the surface (assumedly a larger mirror), so add that to your mirror surface (if it's flush to a wall or on a vanity cabinet) to determine how far in you'll have to lean over your vanity cabinet surface to get within 8 inches of the mirror for good focus. Once I started shaving and grooming using this I rarely use the main mirror it's attached to. It's a little too large for me to pack for travel and I know I'll really miss it on long trips.

Pros: Battery operated, light weigh, lighted, 10X magnify which is perfect for seeing pores, easy to stand anywhere and easy to use. It is perfect for traveling, as well as for home use. Cons: None so far I recently traveled to Finland for about a week. The hotels had dim lights for mirrors and it was difficult to see my face (for cleaning etc.). I was thinking about getting a battery operated magnifying mirror so that I do not need to worry about Plug, socket, voltage etc. for different areas of the world. I searched Amazon and this came out. I saw all the positive reviews and decided to order one. It came quickly, and I was thrilled on how well this mirror was made. It meets almost all my expectations except I was hoping maybe a little smaller. However, I think with the LED lights on the edge, this may be the smallest that can be made without affecting viewing. I will bring this for my next travel.

It is a nice size for traveling, and great to take with you to work when you need to touch your make-up and it is great for using it at home. It has terrific suction and the magnification is awesome. The light is very bright and I really like how you can adjust it with ease. It really shows you even the tiniest of hairs. And for putting on make-up, you get a nice clean, close look that helps so much and makes your make-up look professional. Plus when you put it on the counter in your bathroom, if you feel like you have a splinter in your finger, just turn the mirror on your finger and WOW! It shows you exactly where the splinter is. I did recommend it to a friend and I highly recommend to anyone that wants an excellent bathroom vanity mirror.Trust me.You will not be disappointed. Have a wonderful day,

The product arrive in good time, and was easy to install. The suction cup on the unit works very well. However, the overall size of the mirror was smaller than I expected. At first, I thought I had double-vision looking in the mirror, but when I put my face right up to it, the 10x magnification did what I expected it to do. Considering that there is no flexibility to bring the mirror closer to your face, I find myself having to stretch very close to the mirror to have it work the way I want. Unfortunately, there is no ability to stretch the mirror away from the base so I have to reach over the sink to get up close to the mirror. It's much easier just to take the mirror off the suction cup and hold it up to my face. The light (requires 3 AAA batteries) works well. Overall, a decent product, but I might be looking for one that has an extension bar.

It works so good especially for the price! I stick it to my body mirror that hangs on the back of my bathroom door and it has been there for about a month without moving with kids running in and out of the bathroom taking it off I have the base and putting it back on etc. At first I was concerned that the light was kind of Damn then I realized I was using half dead batteries once I put brand new batteries in it it is super bright LOL not to the point where irritates her eyes but just to wear it illuminates your skin perfectly! I use it for applying make up and occasionally tweezing an eyebrow hair here and there that is out of control would definitely recommend this product I am actually happy I bought it instead of one of the $70 make up mirrors that are large and bulky it is so nice that it just sticks to the mirror right in front of your face at first I was concerned that the light was kind of damn then I realize I was using half dead batteries once I put brand new batteries in it it is super bright LOL not to the point where irritates her eyes but just to wear at lumen ate your skin perfectly! Overall first glance is that the 10x magnification really allows me to see every little detail of my face (even just realized I am starting to have freckles). With the light on, it is even clearer what little details I can see. It is a good mirror for what it's supposed to do. The batteries are not included. You need 3 AAA batteries to power this baby. It is a good size to even keep on the countertop or vanity also. The suction cup allows for it to stand without tipping over 👍 By the way, the suction cup is very strong once it is on a glass or bathroom mirror. No chance of it falling unless the surface its on falls. Not yet rated for traveling. It is a bit bulky and big for I would like to travel with but it is quite light. Will update once I try traveling with it.

I was looking for more of a travel mirror as I am on the road a lot. So I took a chance and bought this mirror. The first thing I noticed was how light it is. Absolutely perfect for my luggage. It folds up nicely with the ball head as it swivels so you can adjust and tuck away in your bag. I have traveled for years and have used a tiny tiny mirror to put on my makeup. Glad I decided to try a bigger mirror as I can now see very clearly putting on makeup. The AAA batteries are convenient and the soft light it gives out is really nice. I have enjoyed my purchase and would recommend. It is not just for travel use, it would also make a great mirror to use at home.

Great magnifying mirror to pluck eyebrows, apply lashes and make sure my makeup is well blended. I love the fact that the base is small yet steady to easily fit on my window sill and I have the option to also suction it to the window for natural light. I took one star for the the light- because 1. Mine doesn’t turn off when I press the power button. It stays on unless I take the batteries out. Which doesn’t really bother me yet because it’s summer time and I’m not getting ready in the dark. But I may feel differently in the winter. But other than that it’s great and it feels study to travel with.
