Standard Dry Fire Training System | NOT Compatible with Laser Cartridges or Aftermarket Triggers (No Spring Kit)

Works great for dry fire training with the Mantis X. Not identical to trigger pull but for dry firing it’s pretty great. Using Glock 17 gen 5. Value for money, fit, and ease of use all better than expected. Could do without the mini bible though lol

I use the dryfiremag to connect my pistol to the MantisX system. There were some sticky issues, but they are resolved with the help of MantisX. The dryfiremag is high quality and worth the purchase.

Picked this up skeptically because $100 is a lot of money for a pmag with a dog clicker in it. I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality and their attempt to replicate the Glock pull weight. First tried this as a training tool to brush up on some skills before taking a scenario-based simunition class. I was dissappointed that the mag stuck out of my G19.4, but got over it quickly. I practiced shooting targets all around my home, posters, light switches, etc. The practice def paid off because I went to the range the day before the class and shot the best I have ever shot, second shot clean through the bullseye at 15 yards. Nice tight groups all day. At the training, the muscle memory was definitely there. I completed my build of a “glock 17-based firearm” about a week later and started training with this mag for that. It worked just as well in there without the annoying excess length that it had in the 19. My Mantis X3 also arrived and I was happy to find that it worked with that as well. I simply had to go into the Mantis app settings and tell it the X3 was mounted on my rail and turm on the dryfire mag setting. All in all I’m pretty happy. I hope the durability stays for awhile. If not I will crack it open and reverse engineer it using a pmag. I’d say this thing was worth it for the ammo I’ve saved alone. I’m getting really good training on target acquisition with iroj sights and RDS, from low-ready and from a holster while burning zero rounds of ammo. If I had paid for every “click” in a round of ammo at the current rates, I would have easily put a couple mortgages downrange by now.

Awesome product. Note: once you set the mag in proper position for proper action DFG does its part very well. I am able to practice trigger pulls without having to reset the action: Put mag in and pull trigger to set DFG mag into proper position- DO NOT RACK THE SLIDE

Before ordering this item or giving it a negative review, be sure you RTFM (google it). Straight out of the box with the small mag adapter mounted, it works perfectly fine in my M18 (non CA model). How is this possible? I RTFM like you should always do. I noted which weapons it is meant to work with and which weapons it is not intended to work with. If yours doesn't fit, you must not get. Is it high priced for what it is and how it's made? Probably. But I know that dry firing will improve my shooting, so this is an investment in more than just a physical object. If I end up being able to nail a mouse in the tuchus at 100 meters, it will have been a remarkable phenomenal investment. (No, I don't actually believe I'll be able to make that shaot at that distance, but a boy can dream.) Just one last piece of advice (and this applies to many things in life) is RTFM.

I was excited to use this system in my fresh Glock 19 gen 6. I followed all provided instructions for use, and it just does not function or fit as expected. The fit feels like it's made a little too big for the mag well on a Glock 19 generation 6, and the "cycling" or resetting of the trigger does NOT function. Do NOT purchase this product if you're a glock owner. Surely there are far cheaper dry fire magazines available. They also included some creepy religious/culty literature with the purchase, so I knew immediately I needed to return this product. I will not allow my money to go towards the abuse of children. I train with my firearms specifically to protect my children from cults.

While the fact this lets me dry fire practice without needing to constantly rack my slide is nice, it would be significantly better if it was heavier. As it stands this takes the trigger feel and turns it into something that feels like an airsoft gun, which I will argue defeats the purpose of dry fire drills since you'd be building a different kind of muscle memory if the trigger feels different when training compared to when actually firing. Additionally, the price is pretty horrendous if I'm honest. This is 99% plastic and an actual magazine is is almost half the price which really makes no sense.... Overall I think I would return this if my return window was still open, I haven't used it much if at all due to the really light trigger and the lack of any real felt quality when using it. Plus the plastic just feels flimsy and like it won't last long.
