Review: The best and greatest laserjet printer from HP. - HP M1005 is one of the greatest and most durable, robust and dependable laserjet printer machine of all time and the best printer I have seen or used in my entire life. This machine never fails to amaze. To begin with this printer can take up any print load you throw at it be it 20 pages, 300 pages or even a thousand pages- all done with the same amazing print quality. 1. The copy function works like a charm and it is quick, quality of the copies is equal to the original. 2. The legendary HP 12a cartridge needs no intro at all. It is one of the most popular cartridges of all time for its ease of use, printing quality and is very economical- gives amazing print quality even after refilling 3-4 times. The refilling cost of the hp 12a cartridge is just Rs 300 and each refill gives around 1500 prints minimum. There is no page counter chip in drum which allows any no of refills. Also all parts of HP 12a cartridge are easily available. 3. This printer has lowest cost of spares like drum, PCR, magnetic roller, toner powder etc. All spares are available even in the smallest towns or online at a cheap price. 4. Scanning function also works great and colour reproduction is very good. 5. This printer though a laser consumes only 230W of power, now that is what I call energy efficient. 6. Though many other HP Laserjet printers are available such as HP m1136 and others at a lesser price, it is anyday better to go in for HP M1005 as it has the biggest capacity cartridge ie 12a which gives a minimum of 1500 prints on refill unlike other hp cartridges like 88a etc which will give a maximum of around only 900 prints. I am sure this trusted and proven printer will give years of happy use with least worry about cost of consumables. You can never go wrong with HP m1005 laserjet. HP m1005 is the best ever multi function laserjet printer- period.
