This review is for the Lentek PC02 PestContro Deluxe. I originally purchased this item for my room. I had a neighbor who had cats that would hang out in my driveway. Cats had a huge flea problem. I would get attacked everytime I walked down the driveway and they would make their way into my home. After I purhcased this item, I put one near the driveway entrance to my home. No more FLEAS!!! We had a small indoor dog who also benefited from this unit and it didn't seem to bother her in the least. It worked so well I purchased another unit 2 weeks later and put it in my room. I used to have a huge ant problem in the summer and this also took care of that. Set up is simple and easy enought to understand the settings on the device. It worked well on these smaller insects. I can't speak for effectiveness on larger insects. Extremely satisfied with my purchase. If they made a larger unit that would ward off solictors and neighbors who neglect their flea infested pets I'd be in for 2!

These thing are the bomb! I've had other brands..Not. the hot ticket is the sound variation, it must drive all pests crazy cause everything left! Put it in the garage(3 car) for primarily mouse problem and it cleared the whole house 2100', note it ran out the black widows, lizards, you name it! Doesn't seem to bother the dog or my tortice, or me! Ive had it for over 5 yrs and no mice, anywhere ! These work!

I just purchased a 250 year old house in the wilds of New England. I bought this pest control device in anticipation of needing it in my garage, but it turned out that before I even moved in I spied a mouse casually passing time in my living room fireplace. The house was still empty and he was easy to track. I hadn't even opened the box yet, but I set the device quickly and plugged it in. The mouse immediately shot out of the fireplace to the center of the room, startled. It then dashed around in a circle, seemingly disoriented. Then it sped out of the room, and I haven't seen him again since. The only quarrel that I have with it is that it does make annoying 'clicking' sounds as it changes frequencies. I'll move it to the basement eventually, where it will be less conspicous. Lentek, if you can tune the unit to a frequency that only rodents hear, why can't you do the same with the click...? Perhaps country mice are easier to intimidate, but so far, so good!

I initially rated this item low because it didn't get rid of the mice for several days after I installed it. I was wrong. It definitely is very effective. The only complaint is that its field is clearly not a whole house. You need one in each room, but you can go with a smaller unit for that. A nice feature of this larger unit is that you can change up the type of signal it emits, in case your mice learn to tolerate a continuous pitch. I have absolutely no mice now and my house was completely infested before I started using these units.

I bought this as a Gold Box item, so I did not research it too much beforehand. I did check out the Lentek website, and it said that the product supposedly gets rid of spiders. We have had a outbreak of a spider problem in our garage, so I purchased it. I liked the idea of using no pesticides, and not having to keep sweeping the webs every week. Upon receipt, I noticed that the instructions were quite poor. There are a few different settings that one can use in combination - high frequency, low frequency, variable timing, etc., but there is no help on how to set the unit for different types of pests. It leaves you to guess. There are many spiders in our garage, so it was easy to find one near a power outlet and then set it up. I tried one setting overnight, not 18 inches from a spider. The next morning, the spider was still there. So I tried a different combination - that evening after work, still there. I moved the unit to another location that I found more spiders, set it to vary frequencies and timing, but the next morning, the spiders were still there. I left it on that day, and when I came back, those spiders were gone, but a new spider had set up shop on the other side of the unit about 3 feet away. Perhaps this works for some people's pests, but for the spiders in my garage, it did not. I am returning the item. I guess bug spray is the answer here. One other annoying item - if you set it to vary frequencies and/or timing, it makes a loud clicking sound when it switches between modes. I would hate to have this inside my house, it would be quite bothersome after a while.

I bought this because I seem to be getting bit by something once every month in my bed. it's definitely not bed bugs or any of the normal bed biting bugs. I think it may be a spider. Either way I put this device next to my bed I put it on every single frequency and for a week or so I had no bite but then lo and behold my monthly bite came. this didn't seem to stop my magical bug bites but maybe it slowed them down? I usually get bit 2 nights or 3 nights in a row than not at all for a few weeks but this time just once so maybe the device is doing something but since I still got bit hard to tell.

This unit has always done it's job completely. We have used it for a decade at our corporate office. No insects or rodents. Costs a little more but it is the one on the market that really works.

Despite the manufactures claims this unit makes noise. It has two frequency levels, super high for flying insects and lower for mice. I had it running for a few days in my kitchen on the lower setting. My house is having foundation repair right now so is somewhat open to the elements around the basement. I wanted to keep mice setting up home this fall. One day I had a friend over for diner. Within a few hours of being over, she came down with a headache. Just a mild one, but enough to make her comment about it. Later as she came into the kitchen to see what I was doing, she asked me what that high pitched sound was. I figured she had seen the box for the PestContro machine and was pulling my leg - but she hadn't. I went over to the box and set it to its highest frequency and she could no longer hear it, but whenever I put it into the lower setting, she would wince with pain. I noticed that I could hear a faint static noise coming from the machine when it was set to the lower frequency too, but nothing like what my friend could hear. I unplugged the device. Within an hour her headache had gone away. I'm returning my PestContro machine.
