Shameless: Staffel 03

Woah, has it already been a whole year since I posted my review for Season Two? Then I guess it's time once again to show my love for this awesome brand new season of the brilliant Shameless USA...Season Three is now available to own on Blu-ray & DVD, (and as usual If you want to purchase, you will have to Import the season from America) and as you may of guessed, the Gallagher's are up to no good and living as shamelessly as possible...This season starts over 100 days later from the season two finale (Quick Re-Cap: Karen has left Chicago after her Mother chose Karen's baby over Karen. Frank drunk as usual, passed out in the snow.) Frank wakes up in Mexico from one hell of a hangover, and tries many ways to sneak passed the boarder to get home. Fiona is literally up to her knees in crap at her 1st job of the season, and takes a risk at another, black mails her boss at another and so on... Steve/Jimmy gets a surprise visit from someone that turns his world upside down. Lip is sentenced to community service after Breaking and Entering, Theft, & Assault, but the genius he is, he makes himself $400 with use of the stolen equipment that landed him in trouble in the first place. And Kev and Veronica, well let�s just say they've found a new way to make money on their webcam. All of this happens in just one 60 minute episode, so you just know the next 11 will be filled with some of the best writing this show has to offer.This season on Shameless: Debbie hangs out at the pool for the summer and gets picked on by 2 older girls. Fiona plays every man for them selves when she goes behind Lip's back and uses the TAX money for work, and is disappointed when she doesn't break even. Lip lives by his rule "When you're poor, the only way to make money is steal or scam". Jimmy's stuck in a new world where he can't leave the house unsupervised, or get into any trouble whatsoever, he's basically a housewife. Shelia's not getting any sleep from looking after Karen's baby, and one trip to taking out the trash leads her to one of the biggest scares of her life. Frank being kicked out of his house once again pushes him to one of his biggest all-time lows (and believe me, this season he has A LOT of all-time low moments), also Frank tries his hand at babysitting a kid that's not his, and as you know he's hardly father of the year to his own kids... The appearance of Kev's wife, and his son? Brings out a side of Veronica that no one� has seen before. Debbie finds love after a self-taught Self Defence lesson. Lip goes the full mile to prove the new neighbour is a paedophile. Mickey's return sees him punch Ian's boyfriend (Jimmy's Dad), get Shot, Pistol whipped and married? To a girl? Carl goes to a summer camp, for the wrong reasons, reasons in which Frank's next all-time low moment scammed him a placement. Jimmy finds out a shocking revelation about his Dad after bringing him home to the Gallaghers drunk, which makes his life that much harder to deal with. The Gallagher's warn Lip he's sending Mandy the wrong signals when she kind of moves in and plays house without having any conversation about it with Lip. Karen's return ends tragically. When Jimmy's old life catches up with him and gets robbed at gunpoint, he feels at his lowest... Until one boat ride changes everything!There is SO MUCH MORE I want to write about, but I feel like I've already given enough away... I try not to spoil this show for anyone, because like I always say, this is a show you need to go into with absolutely zero spoilers... But when you love the show as much as I do, it�s hard to keep in spoilers to a minimum....The cast are bringing more and more powerful performances every season, Jeremy Allen White is still to this day, my favourite Actor in the show, every year he's managed to give me chills more than once or twice during a season. Steve Howey has more of his hilarious one liners, I laughed most at his reason to breaking the TV remote. Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy are as amazing as ever. The rest of the cast all have their moments, and shine throughout the whole season. Sometimes it's actually heart-breaking at how real these characters seem and play off one another...This season to me, personally, ranks as 2nd best. Season one being 1st and Season Two being 3rd. In my opinion I don't think any future seasons will beat one, but this season was pretty close! The amount of situations these Gallagher's get into every episode, you will just keep coming back for more. This season is definitely at it's darkest...The finale of this season is just heart-breaking. Every storyline is tied up perfectly (Lip has a shot at a better future, and for the first time in forever, spends the day with Frank and actually enjoys himself, Fiona's wise words make Frank think about if his life is worth living, Ian's heartbreak has him set on another path, Kev & Verionica are happy with what's to come, Sheila takes Debbie's advice and finds friends her own age, after Jody takes Karen to a place of healing, and Fiona's now getting her life together and finally gets closure - But it's Carl's scene at the hospital with Frank that will leave people praising how great the writing is, and how much Ethan has grown as an Actor). The final music montage (the perfectly used Lord Huron's "Ends of the Earth" fitted with the scenes better than any jig-saw puzzle) had chills running throughout my entire body, my head went numb, I was cold, and as I write this now, just thinking about it, the chills are back. I think it may be the greatest Shameless moment of all 3 seasons.Starting the season in the springtime, and ending with (snow falling) winter, I can�t wait to see what�s in store for Shameless Season 4�Extras include: Unaired Scenes & 6 Featurettes.Again, for the 3rd year in a row, in my opinion THIS SHOW IS 100% BETTER THAN THE UK VERSION. AND I'M BRITISH! If you've never seen it go buy the 1st, 2nd & 3rd seasons now, you will not, or should not regret it, "if" you do, I'm sorry!I don't think there's any other TV show out there at the moment, or ever made, I love more than this.5* 10/10

Fantastic acting and storyline. Emmy Rossum & William H Macy head a really strong cast. Brilliant there will be a 5th Series.

ディスクを再生して楽しんでいたら、突然映像が止まり、5分くらい飛んで別のシーンから始まった。ディスクを確認すると大きめの傷があったので、諦めるしかないと思った。映像が飛ぶ現象は2箇所でほかはきちんと再生される。好きな作品を諦めるつもりはないから、海外から取り寄せの時に会社をきちんと選ぼうと思った。時間がかかっても正確なものを届けてもらいたい。

Since I found this show on TV in the beginning of season four, I have been watching compulsively. I was sad to finish season three because I watched all of four on the tube and am ashamed to say that I have no more Shameless shows to watch! Better gear up for season five.To begin with, I adore the premise of this program which is that one older sibling, with substantial help from her two slightly younger brothers, can keep her family intact after being virtually abandoned by a mother with bipolar disease and a hopelessly alcoholic father who continues to pop up and make life miserable in a very comical way. Lots of laughs and tears and unlike many shows that I watch, I often find myself thinking about this one and the Gallagher family after I turn it off. Totally endearing, thought-provoking and captivating. I highly recommend it.

Shameless ist eine unverschämte us amerikanische Serie des Pay TV Senders Showtime. Die Serie, nach einer gleichnamigen britischen Vorlage, begleitet das Leben der Familie Gallagher aus Chicago die es nicht leicht hat und es sich aber auch nicht leicht macht.Frank Gallagher ist Vater von sechs Kindern und so gut wie immer betrunken. Frank trinkt und interessiert sich wenig bis garnicht für das Leben seiner Kinder. Sich um diese zu kümmern ist die Aufhabe von Fiona, Franks ältester Tochter. Fiona hat keinen Schulabschluss und muss sich mit Gelegenheitsjobs durchschlagen. Für ihre Geschwister ist sie der Mutterersatz und meistert diese Aufgabe alles in allem auch ganz gut. Phillip ist der nächst älteste und hoch intelligent. Weshalb er sich auch etwas dazu verdient für andere Universitätsaufnahmetest abzulegen bis er auffliegt. Ian träumt davon zum Militär zu gehen und hat auch ein großes Geheimnis. Debbie ist das vierte Kind der Familie und versucht für alle durch die Betreuung von Kleinkindern etwas dazu zu verdienen. Carl ist der zweitjüngste Sohn und einer der Fiona am meisten Ärger macht und Liam wahrt ein Geheimnis mit dem wirklich keiner gerechnet hatte.In der dritten Staffel landet Frank ohne Pass (mal wieder) im Ausland und steht vor dem Probleme wie er wieder zurück in die USA schafft. Später zeigt sich das Frank vor seinen tun definitiv nicht nachdenkt und vor gar nichts zurück schreckt. Und das im doppelten Sinn.Fiona muss dabei immer noch darum kämpfen die Familie irgendwie durchzubringen. Sie ist sich dabei auch nicht für den dreckigsten Job zuschaue. Und zeigt immer wieder ihre gerade auch innere stärke.Jimmy wird mit seiner Vergangenheit konfrontiert, steht zwischen den Seiten und den Frauen und erfährt nebenbei noch ein Geheimnis seines Vaters. Veronica und Kevin wollen ein Kind bekommen und machen es sich dabei nicht leicht.Lip, Ian und Debbie haben mehr oder weniger große Sorgen und sind letztendlich Fiona doch immer wieder auch eine Stütze.Es hat ja lange gedauert bis es Shameless zu uns ins TV geschafft hat. Die Serie ist aktuell schon im fünften Jahr während bei uns aktuell zwei Staffeln bei Kabel Eins zu sehen waren. Leider wird es wohl auch erst einmal dabei bleiben weil die Quoten alles andere als gut waren. Shameless ist eine Serie der es gelingt den rauen und oftmals auch tristen Alltag einer eher untypischen amerikanischen Durchschnittsfamilie mit höhen und Tiefen aufzuzeigen. Und dabei auch den Humor nicht zu kurz kommen zu lassen. Als Zuschauer ist man immer mal wieder auch etwas schockiert über bestimmten Dinge oder Entscheidungen und kann mehr als ein paar sich auch einfach nur amüsieren.Die stärke der Serie neben den Geschichten sind die Figuren und die dazugehörigen Darsteller. Dabei ist der Mix aus bekannt und unbekannt ist gelungen. William H. Macy dürfte zusammen mit Emmy Rossum der bekannteste Darsteller sein. Alle anderen Darsteller sind oder waren mir zu Beginn der Austragung der Serie wenigstens komplett unbekannt.Die Serie spart auch nicht an mehr oder weniger eindeutigen erotischen Sex Szenen. Auch wenn hier bei weitem der Fokus nicht drauf liegt. FSK 16 ist so absolut in Ordnung. Höher wäre lächerlich drunter sollte es aber auch nicht sein.Die Blu-ray Veröffentlichung ist toll. Man bekommt alle 12 Episoden der dritten Staffel auf 2 Discs. Die Discs befinden sich in einer einfachen Amaray Hülle wo sie auf den jeweiligen Seiten untergebracht sind und sich einfach entnehmen lassen. Dazu gibt es ein Booklet mit einer Übersicht über alle Folgen wie kurzen Inhaltsangaben zu diesen.Als Bonusmaterial gibt es "Aus der Art geschlagen - Darsteller und Produzenten vergleichen Frank und Lip", "Ein Offizier und Gallagher - Ein Blick in Ians Innenleben", "Das Leben als Mandy und Mickey Milkovich - Der Einfluss von Freundschaft und mehr auf die Gallaghers", "Ein kaputter Dreier: Lip, Karen und Mandy - Darsteller Jeremy Allen White und Autor Etan Frankel diskutieren Lies Liebesleben" und "Nicht verwendete Szenen".Shameless ist sicherlich eine Serie die nicht jedermanns Ding ist. Doch wer sich darauf einlässt wird es nicht bereuen. Man bekommt eine ernste aber gleichzeitig auch komische Serie die einfach zu unterhalten weiß.

La serie me encanta y desde Alemania ha sido la unica forma de encontrarla a un precio asequible. OJO Idiomas Ingles y aleman, NO ESPAÑOL .Entrega super eficiente de Amazon, como siempre

La téléspectatrice en moi s'est trop attachée à cette joyeuse tribu, qui règne en maître sur le système D pour affronter les aléas de l'existence, pour faire l'impasse sur les saisons inédites en France (hors diffusion Canal+).N'étant pas pour autant prête à dépenser 60€ pour acquérir la version espagnol/français mise en vente par des spéculateurs opportunistes, j'ai opté pour la version allemand/anglais au prix de 16,50 €, après avoir beaucoup tergiversé ...et je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix!L'humour et la provocation (jusqu'à l'outrance parfois) le disputent à la tendresse et la générosité qui unissent les protagonistes Gallagher et compagnie.NB: J'ai un bon niveau d'anglais mais j'ai choisi de laisser apparaître les sous-titres anglais en surimpression pour être sûre de comprendre le langage fleuri et contemporain de cette série (assez éloigné de celui que l'on apprend dans les livres d'anglais). Je visionnerai à nouveau cette saison en allemand, histoire de retravailler un peu la langue de Goethe.
