The Parker Adjustable Variant Safety Razor allows you to choose how close you want your shave to be. The Variant has 5 settings numbers 1-5. Number 5 will deliver the closest shave, number 1 the mildest shave. In between each number is a half setting so you can tweak the setting very slightly to get a shave that's personalised to your exact requirements. The Variant is 110g in weight and has a longer than standard 90mm long handle. The heft of the razor gives you a reassuring feeling of control as you shave. The Variant is machine tooled from solid brass to extremely tight engineering tolerances. The adjustment setting works very smoothly and throughout the standard of engineering is exceptionally high. Two piece construction. Made from solid brass with a matte 'stain chrome plating'. 5 settings with half settings so 10 settings in total. Dimensions: Handle diameter: 12mm at the grip, 13.7mm on the adjustment knob Handle length: 90mm Overall length: 103mm Weight: 110g Changing blades is safe, quick and easy. Turn the knob on the handle anti-clockwise and remove the top plate, place a fresh blade over the screw and insert the top plate including the blade back into the base plate. Gently tighten the knob. TAKE NOTE: When reinserting the top plate, make sure the notch marking the side of the cover plate is on the same side as the notch marking on the base plate. This is required so the adjustment settings on the razor will calibrate properly. Tighten the knob until the razor top plate is lined up at number 1 setting. Do not at any time over tighten the knob. Please Note: No blades are included with this razor Bullet Stand Perfectly sized not to take up too much space yet heavy enough at 137g to not topple over when loaded up with your razor.
