Extra Select Insect Suet Pellets for Wild Birds, 3kg

Great insect suet pellets for feeding wild birds in the garden, who seem to LOVE these insect ones (the berry ones I tried did not go down well!).I have bought these repeatedly and all have been good.The only thing to watch out for is the size of the feeder holes as the longer pellets especially can get blocked. A shake of the feeder and all is good again.The containers have been great to refill, whether with pellets or sunflower seeds (which again are loved).

Good value, can't comment on what they taste like as I haven't eaten any, but the birds get through them pretty quickly.Unfortunately though, one of the tubs was broken and I received a boxful of loose pellets which was a bit annoying. Other than that, I'd recommend them.

IF YOU WANT TO ENCOURAGE NICER BIRDS INTO YOUR CITY OR SUBURBAN GARDEN.SUNFLOWER HEARTS ARE AN ABSOLUTE NO BRAINER.I gave about 20 Goldfinches that frequent my garden.I fed them all through last summer. The adults flew south leaving 14 youngsters with 2 older birds.8 or 9 of the young made if through winter.When the adults returned all the Goldfinches paired off, sometimes 3 birds seem to be together. Not sure of the dynamics cos seeing is difficult.I've also attracted a pair of greenfinches.That's about as exotic as it gets for me. It's more than enough I promise.Get the best quality

All my garden birds love these pellets (I've even caught slugs and snails eating the pellets). There's rarely anything left or mess afterwards.I would have ordered the slightly cheaper refill packs, but I didn't have Prime at the time so ordered the tubs.Incidentally, the tubs are useful even when empty, I use them for storing other seeds to keep mice/rats from opening the plastic bags/sacks and setting up home in my garage.Update 02/10/2019:These are my go-to with suet pellets. I buy the cheaper refill packs and decant them into the original tub (then decant them into garden birds). Great for all year round.

I’m judging this 5 star review on the fact that our wild birds practically inhale these as soon as they go out. We’ve give from having pidgeon and the occasional Robin to a host of tiny tits, starlings, magpies, doves and most recently a darling baby woodpecker. Fab
