A timelessness book on feminism
The feminist movement has been the longest global political movement that has yet to be fully implemented among societies. Bell Hooks, from margin to center, is a call to action wherever you have the possibility to build a better world.

Brilliant.
It allowed me to rethinking everything I've always believed feminism to be. It has opened my eyes to so much light.

A good place from where to start
Good book but after reading Talking Back and Ain’t I a Woman it tills familiar ground. Still a good place from where to start reading bell hook's oeuvre. Love her work. So sad to hear of her death two years ago. Thrilled to have seen her live at York University, Toronto,, in Fall 1992.

Still relevant
The references are dated but, in 2019, hooks’ theory is as relevant as ever. A must read for today and for the future

Beautiful. So intelligent, and saddening. Really important to have these books under your belt to truly understand the race class and gender struggle still ongoing.

The book enlighten me in black women way to see feminism but she is so judgemental against white women . White women should understand circumstances of black women of course but judging and underestimating won't help
