Lifesize Share (1st Generation)

Didnt work after our IT tried for 2 days to install.

Needed a solution for our conference room to stream without software and thought this would be it- for Mac or ios it works great using Airplay but other platforms must go through Google Chrome and install an extension

I've used this Lifesize Share device regularly at the office to share my screen during video conference calls and to present to people in the room. I can't speak to how easy or difficult it is to set up (that was done by IT), but as a user, it's a piece of cake. If you have a Mac, you can share your screen using AirPlay, otherwise you just go to the custom URL, find the device by name, and enter the access code — and your screen (or the individual window you choose to show) is right there up on the TV. No video cable. No adapter. It's pretty much as easy as connecting to the WIFI network. Highly recommended!

Finally a way to easily transition between different presenters! We use Lifesize systems daily in a variety of scenarios, including on-site with customers for key project milestones. Having a way to switch between presenters without passing an HDMI cable (and hoping it's long enough to reach everyone) is amazing. It's also great when facilitating mobile training...I use AirPlay to instantly present the screen. ..boom.
