No more bending over.
My grandkids love to "Play" Tennis at the park just down the street. This usually involves me picking up all the balls. Surprisingly, they are willing to use this to collect the balls. If my 5, 6, and 8-year-old grandkids haven't destroyed it, then it must be well built. This is a "value" product, not fancy, and maybe not what you would look cool using at a club. I would buy it again.

Good.
I ordered it with other items for free shipping and it arrived the next day I'm in LA area. I think company is located in Compton? Works good, picks up Penn balls fine. I'm happy to not bend over so much. Simple to fold up from being a stand into being the hopper, but if you have arthritis or something (little kid?) might be tough to latch legs. But legs fit securely in hooks, doesn't wobble when filled with balls. No balls slipped out, I think it's good. It is a bit weighty when full but fine for me. Only 4 domed nuts and 8 washers, easy to put together, didn't even read instructions. If the nuts rust or fall off in the future I suppose I'd just get more. I'm not paid for reviews, just a lazy tennis player ha.

A little flimsy but good for the price
I bought it for Amazon a while back and used it when playing with my kids. The construction is a little flimsy but adequate. I also used a much more solid professional ball pick up hopper to collect balls at our local tennis center, and the difference is noticeable - foldable handles result in less sturdy feel and require more effort to push down on the ball to collect it. However, if you only need to collect balls a couple of times during the day, it is not a big deal. When handles are locked in the downward position and used as legs, the hopper is reasonably steady. It will likely fall if you hit it with the ball hard, but it won't fall on its own. The size of the hopper feels a little smaller than stated. My estimate is that it is good for about 65-70 balls. It would be challenging to squeeze in 75 balls with the lid closed. The fact that it can be disassembled for storage (e.g., in winter) can be a big plus if you are limited in storage space. The biggest drawback is that albeit it has a lid, this lid cannot be locked. I use a piece of wire to lock it when transporting the hopper full of balls in the car. The thing is that its base is relatively small, and I prefer to lay it flat on its size when it is in the trunk to make sure it does not fall. In this position, one has to lock the lid somehow, otherwise the balls will be all over the car. In summary, nothing special, flimsy, but it does its job, it is functional, and the value for the money is quite good.

Great gear for practice...
This hopper is great! I bungee it to a small dolly and wheel it across the street to the tennis court. One use for me is for serving practice. I am able to work on form serving the full basket as many times as I want. I can also use the hopper to pick up the balls, making it much easier for me (and my back) so I don't have to stoop over. I also use it to feed balls to my aunt who I play once a week with. She is getting back into tennis after a 20 year hiatus, so she really appreciates the workout. The only thing that I do not like about the hopper is changing securing the "legs." Once secured, it stands up fine but with a full basket of balls, it gets a little tedious trying to get the bar into the catch. But, that is just part of it and, I don't think, a design flaw. It does not make the hopper any less useful and it still does its job. Though not an issue for me, the hopper can be very heavy once filled with tennis balls. So keep in mind that the more you add, the more it will weigh. Highly recommend.

Worst item I have ever purchased on Amazon
This product did not suffer from overuse, as it was rarely used in the first four months after purchase late last year. As soon as I started taking it to practice serving, the welds began to loosen. The legs were so wobbly, I quit trying to use them and sat it on the ground and bent down to retrieve balls. After a couple of weeks using the arms to carry it by, the welds on the side broke apart, and I tried to re-fix each with Godzilla Tape. That lasted another couple of weeks. I have given up using this product and will be throwing it out, as it is more dangerous than helpful. Please be wary of this product, and hopefully Amazon will demand better quality from a large supplier like Wilson.

It's okay
I had to order this item twice. For some reason I received a notification that this item was lost in the mail, and the second time, the item got lost again, but eventually it finally got delivered. I really loved it at first, but the metal used on this hopper is so thin and flimsy. The handles like to pop out of the holders, and you to switch it standing mode, you have to lock it into two hooks that gets a little irritating to release from. I use this hopper on a daily basis. First the top hatch is a bit irritating. I eventually left it off, except when transporting the hopper in my car to prevent the balls from falling out the opening. However, somehow the metal frame of my hopper warped and the hatch refused to lock. In the end, the welding and thin metal frame was this hopper's Achilles' heel. One of the tubes that the handles latch into fell off. I MacGyvered it back on and repeated what I did as a preventative measure for the other side, and dare to say, actually improved the hopper's stability. After, enjoying that fix for a month, the welding that holds the bottom fell apart. I could have spent more time on it, but decided to retire the hopper and picked up the Tourna Ballport Deluxe, which was a little more expensive but definitely worth the price. Not to completely trash on this hopper, it does it's job, and I may have just been unlucky, but mine lasted for a year before falling apart. For $30 that's not bad.

Awesome ball hopper!
We’ve been using this ball hopper all summer long! My son (10 years old) put it together for us and he had no problem. It rolls on small wheels, but since it’s lower in height, it’s easier for a kid to roll it than an adult. The hopper isn’t even half full and it’s holding 32 balls. It’s so easy to use too- just squish the tennis ball with the hopper and the ball is in, it has a “lid”, and then just stand it up using the handles. My favorite feature? It holds all seven of our tennis rackets- just close the lid, and slide the tennis racket upside down into one of the slots. It makes going to the court a breeze.

Great Value for Money!
I think this basket is such a great value for money. Once the legs are secured, it is sturdy, and really does the job. It can hold good number of balls, and it’s easily transportable.

Very flimsy , and badly made
Not happy with the product, one of the clips fell straight off and another part of the cage was broken.
