I initially purchased this tool after seeing a review on another site thinking this would be just the thing to aid in hanging pictures. The first thing you will notice is the quality of the tool. The aluminum ruler is sturdy, the accessories fit well and the finish shows attention to detail. The markings are engraved and easy to read and the position markers slide easily yet stay in place. The beveled edge reduces parallax which makes for more accurate alignment and marking. The flat bottom along with the weight, helps keep the ruler in place when cutting paper I found using the 314 was easy, the level vials are accurate enough over the 48" that I found I did not need a secondary level. Be cause I was hanging picture frames of identical size the fact the marker slides stayed in place between use made the job go quickly. The marks were accurate and all the picture frames were level. I can see me using this for repeated layout markings when cutting plywood or other sheet goods. The fact the ruler (without the T stop) is 51" long makes it convenient to accurately measure large peices wihtout relying on a tape measure. I suspect I will also find it handy when cutting wrapping paper in the coming months. I was also surprised to find the T stop created a pretty accurate 90 degree, which I verified using my Kapro 353 ledge-it square, which is certified. I would not necessarily rely on this for precision meaurements but this is fine for most around the house use. I recommend this tool for its designed use but I am sure you will find other uses as I have.

This thing is great - easily hang picture(s), quickly and easily figure out and mark distances between pictures & has a level built in so you know you are hanging them straight. I was looking for a traditional T Square and saw this online and realized that I could use this for so much more than originally thought. Someone put some thought into designing this and it show. My only complaint is that the metal isn't very thick and is bent easily. Flip side is that it straightens back easily too. I accidently bent mine but laid some heavy weight on it and it went back with no issues. Not recommended for construction use, but great for around the house.

This tool is solid and well-made, with many advanced features that are perfect for DIYers working on common household projects. The accessories are a plus, and the ruler has a firm grip in the head. However, moving the ruler can be challenging due to the grip. Unfortunately, it’s not very accurate for precise measurements, and the 90-degree portion is not square, which can be frustrating. Due to the tight tolerances, it cannot be made square easily. Overall, I would recommend this tool to anyone looking for a versatile and durable ruler for their DIY projects. However, if you need precise measurements or require a square 90-degree portion, this may not be the best option for you.

Love the size and the functionality of this. I do not have a problem with it being square as some reviewers have had. Mine is pretty right on. The downside is the plastic is a little hard but not terribly cheap. I could see the T end cracking if dropped hard onto concrete. I just plan to take care of it and not toss it around. I also ordered a round refillable wood working pencil which the diameter of the led is perfect for the holes to use this to draw lines.

Love the modularity of the system. I like that I can remove and replace some of the pieces to work with the project I’m working on. The T square is great because it can lay flat or lay on the edge of a piece of wood, for instance. I also like that it’s made in the USA. Just a really great and versatile tool for a great price.
