Why did you pick this product vs others?: Building up my climbing bag for rescue operations and needed something that would be strong, durable, and ready when used to do my job. This rope did just that! Value for money: Worth every penny! Came sealed up and each piece showed that it had been inspected by multiple people before releasing to the customers. Durability: I weigh around 200lbs and after tying onto my main line, I could hang freely without worry. Quality: Definitely made of high quality rope and I will put my life on it. Literally!

This loop works great with my saddle hunting setup.

Works well for a back up for my ascending device. Bright colors really stand out so you don’t forget them. Quality.

I use these as my backup on rappel and have also used them to ascend/decend a fixed rope on a number of occasions. I also have/use regular, rated prusik cord but highly prefer these pre-sewn loops for a few reasons. First, I've never had one fail to grab and hold onto the rope after being loaded. And second, these loops are extremely easy to release. Having had regular prusik cord to work with by comparison, I spend a lot more time, energy, and aggravation releasing and redressing the knots than i would using these pre-sewn loops. Don't forget to back them up by attaching yourself to the rope by another means (running clove hitch for me). Can't speak as to how durable, long-lasting this product is. For the price, I'll probably replace them well in advance of the end of their shelf life. 2025 Edit: I just honorably retired my first of these prusik cords after a few years and over 100 uses. It was showing some friction/heat damage and the plastic wrap surrounding the sewn seam was frayed a little. I've beaten the heck out of these things, subjected them to intense heat during fast rappels, and fallen on them probably harder than I should have. I bought a second pack of these and intend to keep using them to keep me and my kids alive on rappel.

This was my second attempt to purchase prusiks and these ones finally worked. Good size, not too heavy. Looking forward to using them for my next glacier travel!
