I get to save my batteries!
Very nice remote. Good quality, doesn't feel cheap or like it will break easily. Buttons have a nice "push" to them and spring back nicely. Had no problem programming this to my Samsung smart TV and even was able to sync some commands from my previous Xbox/universal remote as well. Bought this specifically because my previous Xbox remote was backlit and I was replacing batteries SO OFTEN. This doesn't light up aside from the indicator light, and that's all I need. I like that there is a screw for the battery compartment and if you happen to lose the screw, or you don't want to unscrew the back every time to swap batteries - the back still does "lock" into place without it. You just then won't be able to use the wristband. This cost less than my previous remote and my TV responds even better. This is perfect.

Works great
Works great! Minor issue, it doesn’t have a ‘back’ button, you have to press B. Like I’ll navigate through Netflix but the OK and B buttons are kinda far from each other. Very minor in the grand scheme of things. The volume and mute worked automatically for my Hisense Roku tv; didn’t have to program anything.

Great replacement
I love Anderic remotes. I know they are just cheap Chinese replacements but unlike alot of the others it doesn't feel like it. The plastic seems solid and the buttons while squishy, are well placed. It works right out of the box and even controls my Vizio Atmos bar with no setup at all. Well worth the price.

best xbox remote for media watcher's
if you use your xbox to watch lots of pshyical media and streaming services this remote is probably the best option to go with and also one of the cheapest the newer pdp remote doesn't have (next) and (previous) chapter buttons this remote has those most other remotes have backlighting that is hyper touch sensitive so the batteries die pretty quickly this remote has no lighting so the batteries last for a very long time the only con i have with this remote is that it doesn't have the xbox 1guide button which is the only button signal you can reprogram in xbox settings to launch any one game or app of your choice most other remotes have that button ultimately i ended up buying 12 more of these remotes after testing out the first one for a few months I've had no issue's with signal output strength tho i've only used them at a 15ft distance they also seem pretty durable contray to what some other reviewers have said

Works great
I read some of the negative comments and they must not know how a remote is supposed to work. Right out of the box it turned on my Xbox s. And it was so easy to program the buttons for my tv. Yes you have to aim it at the tv, but it’s a remote and it was very inexpensive. I have the Xbox official remote for my Xbox x and it does not have the features to operate my tv and was much more pricey.

Worked great at first then totally stopped working after a few months
Initially this seemed like a great media remote for my Xbox One because it required no setup and performed well. I was delighted to finally find an xbox remote that didn't have a backlight because I was tired of constantly having to change the batteries on my old one. Everything seemed great at first then it just stopped working after 2 months. I replaced the batteries thinking maybe I put some duds in but that wasn't it. I contacted the manufacturer (Anderic) about the issue but they blew me off. I wouldn't recommend buying this remote because in my experience it won't last very long.

NOT a universal remote as advertised.
Works perfectly as an Xbox One media remote. The problem is that it can't learn anything from my Samsung TV remote. I followed the instructions perfectly, and stood there pointing the two remotes at each other like an idiot over a dozen times. Simply put, it cannot learn from other TV's as advertised, so it's not a universal remote. All I need is to program the volume control and menu button from the TV, but I can't. Looks like I'd have to use 2 remotes. Other than that, a backlight would help to see in the dark, and the Xbox face buttons are lined up horizontally instead of in their usual diamond pattern, which is a bit awkward. Overall, it's a compact, functional, and simple Xbox remote without an abundance of useless buttons. The major issue is not being able to learn from other TV remotes.
