12’ Outer sleeves

Repeat purchase - Superb, crystal clear and a perfect thickness to prevent the creasing that can occur on thinner sleeves. Big Fudge is a name synominous with vinyl care. A Perfect fit and great protection for my Elvis Presley LP's. Very happy with purchase, great value and I would buy again!

Important to note that the "3 mil" thickness is 3 thousands of an inch which is 0.0762 mm (76 microns). I'd say that 150 microns is pretty thick and 100 microns about right for my collection of 12" records, so these are on the flimsy side and therefore pretty expensive (for the 25 pack at least). They are good quality though and well packaged.

Over the years I've built up quite a collection of vinyl records and wanted to protect them as best as I could. These sleeves do the job perfectly. They're outer sleeves, sized for albums and 12" singles, and fit the record including its outer cardboard sleeve. The thickness is perfect - not stiff, but not too thin - and unlike some they're fully open along one side and don't have a flap. Fitting them is simple - just find the open edge and slide the record inside. The covers are not coloured or frosted, so you can see what's inside perfectly. I've used them on 12" singles, albums, and double albums. The only record I had trouble with was the latest Depeche Mode album, "Memento Mori" - it's a double, but the sleeve is wider (not thicker) than a standard double album by about a centimeter, but the solution was just to slide the record in sideways so that extra length was sticking out, albeit unprotected. The sleeves are also fairly strong - one did split a little when I was putting a record in, but it was still perfectly usable. Absolutely delighted with these, and will buy more when my collection grows.

I’ll keep this brief, they’re excellent quality outer sleeves for 12” records, they fit gatefolds easily so you obviously have no trouble getting a single album in there. They’re transparent so you can clearly see your album sleeve outer artwork despite they’re thickness, the thickness that’s going to keep your records safe, secure & also keep the sleeves colours crisp for years to come. Now depending on how you handle your records & stuff these sleeves if not placed carefully on a flat surface when not in use can crease/wrinkle so slightly but that can be avoided just look after your stuff & avoid non flat surfaces when not in use. They’re a little pricey for what they are but most other brands/makes are around the same price & haven’t got the great BIG FUDGE reputation & rave reviews on here from other buyers.

These are great for ... Single lps Most Doubles will fit pretty well. Without too much cramping, say like a foot into a small shoe. I'm a Jazz listener... Blue note classics in their og shrinks will fit, not a problem. Older thick stock gatefolds are accomadated really well. Regarding Tone Poets and some of the Craft releases etc these don't work, on account they come in already over size protective sleeves. I personally like to keep these sorts of releases in their provided sleeves as I like to keep the hype stickers etc. The card stock is really heavy on some of those releases and even if you bin the provided protective cover these Big Fudges are not the job imo. I think my lp's are protected to a good standard, while maintaining good eye appeal. I've had no issues with splitting at all, if your doing doubles, take the lp's out and put the cover in first and you'll likely to find the same. These are just a great mid all rounder imo. If that's what your after then these are highly recommend.

These sleeves are crystal clear. You can read the spine of the LP through them. They come in packs and the ones I ordered came in packs of 100, despite the item description of 50x. I am re-sleeving my collection and so, on this occasion, ordered 6 packs. Packs 1 to 5 were fine. Pack 6 had been roughly handled and a couple of the sleeves were creased. Not a criticism of Big Fudge in any way. Their product is excellent and I will continue to buy more as the re-sleeving project continues. Just a note to Amazon....a little more care in packaging/handling would be appreciated.

I've purchased many vinyl covers over the years and these are hands down the best ever. I'm just about to order more to replace all of my existing covers as it has transformed our record shelves. They look so tidy and clear now! From a distance it barely looks like the vinyls have any sleeves on them. A couple of my bulkier vinyls are a bit thick for them but this is not a big deal. Very happy!

Sehr gute Außenhüllen. Ich hatte bisher keine Probleme Gatefolds oder Alben mit mehreren Platten in die Hüllen hineinzubekommen. Die Hüllen sind transparent ohne milchig zu sein und haben, meiner Meinung nach, eine gute Dicke.
