Perfect factory, originals,
Excellent construction and instructions, 10 minute job perfect, keep up the great job SKB

Nice choice
Good for keeping small children out of box, and for those occasions when you don't want a padlock hanging from the corner of your box. Easy to install, but did not come with instructions; be careful about which direction you put the pins back into the case (oversized on one end).

Worked well, but…
These locked fitted well, but they’re not the sturdiest locks I’ve ever seen and for $40 for some plastic, I expected better.

Easy to install
I bought an SKB 1SKB-66PRO case for my 1976 Fender stratocaster. Of course the keys were gone and I couldn't lock it anymore. I was able to change the 2 locks on the case and it is secure again. The installation is very easy.

Lock quality needs improvement
Locks quality is barely satisfactory.

Locks broke on first use.
The latches seem to work fine however, the locks, once locked, broke immediately when making sure they were locked. The pot metal post snapped instantly. Now I am left with just one locking latch. Funny thing is, the one that didn’t break was the original latch on the case. The two that broke were these “replacements” and the locks look different that the original one. I think these may be knock-offs and not OEM parts.
