EM-1 is is a great choice for a plant soil inoculant, especially if you are growing organically. It adds a lot of life to your soil. I use it on all of my houseplants, veggies, herbs etc. You will notice a difference within a few days if not sooner after you first apply it. Plants are visibly more healthy and more responsive to light. EM-1 will help your plants use fertilizer more efficiently and it also helps with water retention in the soil. I apply it by itself @ 2tsp. per gallon of water between feedings, about once per month. There is not really any reason to use it more often than that. EM-1 is not only LABS but also contains photosynthetic bacteria and yeast culture. It also contains molasses, which helps to feed the bacteria in the soil as well as add sugar to your plants. It is a very effective probiotic soil inoculant that has many other uses as well. You can also use this with salt based nutrients as well to get some life into the soil. You can also dilute it for use with a sprayer and hose for use on your garden or lawn. EM-1 also helps with seed germination and rooting plant cuttings, clones etc.

Make sure you activate the em1 instead of using it directly from the bottle. You can find instructions on how to activate it on traffic their website. It's extremely easy to activate it, all you need is molasses and some time. I originally bought this for my plants, which it was worked wonderfully for. Plants are perkier, and I can use less fertilizer. After reading more about EM I decided to try it out in a few more areas. My chicken coop was starting to smell a little off, so I decided to put some of the em1 in a pump sprayer and spray the bedding area with it. After about two weeks the smell is noticably improving. My bathtub drain started turning a smell, and I tried using boiling water, being stuffs and vinegar but the smell came right back the next day. I poured a few caps full in the drain and let it sit overnight and the smell was gone after a few days. I'm sure I'll find more use for this product over time, but what I've used it for so far, it's worth the price for me.

Bioremediation works! This was good for spraying nutrients on herbs and houseplants. My lime tree flourished with this poured diluted into the ground/pot. My yield grew and plants looked healthier. So many uses like odor removal if you have dogs/farm animals. Keeps flies/odor at bay. Farmers/Growers in Okinawa use in their barns and claim animals are happier, fruit is sweeter, air is cleansed naturally.

Great product

I used to work at a rejuvenation center for a few years in the mesas of Arizona and we had a decent sized facility offering massage, cranial sacral, colonics, yoga, meditation, superfood products, natural supplements and much more. One of the things we did was grow a lot of our own food on a roughly 2 acre plot with sprouting domes and greenhouses. We offered raw food vegan meals at our cafe and we used as much food as we could that we grew ourselves. I have personally seen the effects of EM1 from this brand specifically and let me tell you, the difference is enormous. Greens like kale, spinach and chard grew at least 2-3 times as large and faster. The produce we had was amazing and I’ve since been using it in my home garden.

A nursery friend of mine finally spilled her secrets! It’s this magic juice. All of her plants always looked so healthy and she credits it to this. Very easy to make and expand when you add it to water and molasses. Inexpensive because of how much you can expand it! I’ve had several plants I thought that were going to die (fruit trees one worked hard on!!) and this brought them back to life. Very pleased with EM1.

The photos on this need to be updated. They show water as the sole inactive ingredient but in fact it arrives with molasses in it. Will have to return.

Love this product! It was a learning curve at first. My friend recommended and nowhere on the container does it give instructions to activate it but when you go to their website there is tons of info. You can use it without activation but works better when you mix with organic molasses in a 1 gallon jug and let it sit for about a week. My plants are happy and I also put this in a sprayer ans spray my soil before planting crops for the season and then once more mid season.
