Archer Jerky Grass-Fed Beef Jerky, Mango Habanero, Gluten Free - 16 Oz

This is by far the best beef jerky I have ever had. I have tried many and this is my favorite. Just the right amount of spice in the habanero and a touch of sweet mango. It is very tender and not tough to chew like other's. Low in sugar and carbs. I only choose this Archer brand now it is always guaranteed perfection.

I almost hesitated on buying this due to some of the bad reviews. However, I was able to get these for about $14 so I took the chance. Glad I did. Those bad reviews must be from a bad batch or just picky-negative-never-satisfied people. This beef jerky is on point: looks , smell and tastes good. Simple, clean ingredients. I’m an Iron Worker and I eat these during coffee as a light snack 4 energy. It’s comparable to old trapper and might be my go to if the price is right.

This is the lowest sodium grass-fed beef jerky I have been able to find. It is a bit sweet and has several grams of sugar per serving, but I guess that's the trade-off for the low sodium. Flavor is excellent as long as you like spicy (I do) and the texture is a moist jerky, not super dry and chewy. Keep in the fridge after opening. The 1 lb size is the most economical if you eat a lot of jerky.

Flavor is good but some of the pieces are disgustingly soft and mushy.

Very soft and tasty but Habanero is little too spicy for me.

Ok , so just don't look at the price. Think of it like this - go buy 3lbs of quality beef at the store , spices, gas to drive there , dry it down to 1 lb and you'll spend just as much . This is'nt gobble down stuff , its more of a special treat like a glass of fine scotch. Cudos to the lady with the review 'more mango than hot'. This is a tender quality jerky with a really good flavor and a nice balance of sweet n spicey, not burn your face off. It's really tender and the first thing I noticed was that it didn't get stuck in my teeth .... AT ALL. Even my own home made jerky that I trim up six ways to sunday gets stuck in my teeth. It's very tender , I think some folks mistake sticky sugary corn syrup gooped up roadkill for 'moist' . This is actually mostly just MEAT with a good moisture content and it was very yummy 👍

To get to the point, this jerky is too soft and moist. Impressively tender actually. The sweetness and heat are nothing special, but you do get 1lb of jerky that is easy to snack on. For that, I have to give it at least 3/5. There are a ton of jerkys with better taste and texture that are definitely more expensive, but if you happen to like a super tender jerky with underwhelming flavors, then this is a good value.
