1800W In Counter Double Digital Induction Cooktop | Portable Or Built-In Countertop Design | Easy To Clean New Touch Panel Controls (Horizontal Double Burner)

I installed this on our 50' Marine Trader boat after having removed the propane unit, as I did not like to have propane plumbed on board. The unit has two burners, which must share a total of 1800 watts. I was astounded how well a burner can work on 900 watts. I put a pan on with a cup of water, and it was briskly boiling in less than 15 seconds! This is especially important since power is limited on our boat once underway, since heat/air, and all appliances must share one generator. I can even run the unit on my inverter for short (i.e. 30 minutes) of my batteries + inverter. UPDATE: 2019 July 7 -- Well, one burner failed, and the reason is that it is showing error "HOT". This is due to the fact that the fan (there are two, one for each burner) for the left hand burner will not run. It is not the fan, as I have measured the voltage on the wires going to it, and the right hand fan has 18 volts and runs fine, but the left hand fan has zero volts and needless to say therefor does not run. There is some logic on the PCB that has somehow failed. Reducing my rating to 3 stars. May increase back to 5 depending on how I am treated in trying to get a repair. Update Oct 2022 -- I have an electronics background, and opened up the electronic enclosure. I figured out the schematic, found a solder trace shorting out a transistor, removed the solder short and replaced the transistor and it has worked very well ever since. So zero points for support, 3 points for quality control, and 5 points for function now that I fixed it.

Didn't work straight out of the box. Ordered this stove for a new kitchen and wasn't able to install it for a few months due to delays in construction. When we did, it simply didn't work. When we reached out to J & R Wholesale, they wanted us to pay nearly $80 in shipping costs to take a look at a stove that only cost $120. Totally ridiculous. This stove, and the company that sold it, are a complete waste of time. Take your money elsewhere.

Top Broke after one week when pan fell 3 inches on top.

Installed in the counter of my houseboat. Have been using it daily since arrival (untold weeks). As a lifetime gas stove guy I was unsure at first, but once I learned the correct temperatures for the digital controls I am totally sold. This stove does not heat up my boat as much as the previous gas stove, and cooks faster. I really like how it beeps when I remove the pan while cooking and then shuts off. Much less chance of burning down (or blowing up) my boat. I was not sure this less expensive induction cooktop would be as usable as a friends' name brand induction cooktop (more expensive), but I can discern no lesser quality or function. In fact just the opposite. This top can be used on top of the counter until you are convinced to keep it and then can be mounted into it once you are sure you want to cut a hole in your counter - none of the others I saw can do that! Did I mention I like this stove?

This product works but is annoying. If you take a pan of while it's on it goes into en error mode that can't be turned off without unplugging the whole thing. Not to mention the touch controls can be activated by drops of water or wiping it down, so it's hard to clean with it getting into the error state. Not sure how this can be in counter mounted if you need to unplug it all the time.

This work like a charm, easy to clean, easy to use as long you have the proper pans.

I need help to know how to use this item, the manual doesn’t help.
