My old disposal died and since I was replacing it, I decided to also upgrade the old plumbing under my sinks. The previous plumbing was all "flexible" joint, which seems to trap bits of food/junk, causing it to drain slowly. This kit came with everything I needed (a few extra pieces, actually). It was cheaper (not to mention easier!) to get this kit w/extras than to go to a store and buy pieces individually. You (most likely) will need to cut some of the longer pieces down using a hacksaw. For the straight pieces (where there's no threading on the end) you can easily trim the pipes down for a perfect fit. I had to do that on the pipe that connected the two sinks as (I guess?) my two sinks were an inch farther apart than one of the other pieces could reach. Easy to assemble and NO LEAKS!

Worked great for us when installing a new garbage disposal. Good to keep one of these kits around the house for most kitchen sink drain problems and some of the later 1.5" inch codes on vanity sink drains sizes etc... when or if something leaks or have normal sink drain issues, this kit can help you and save you a service call to boot. It's easy to work with! Definitely save ya a trip to the Hardware store, will save you a headaches during after store hours episodes, like on a Sunday or after daily store hours when most local mom & pops hardware store are closed for the night etc... It's Inexpensive Sink Drain Help in a bag. However, Must use with a pair of med or large pair of channel lock pliers "not included" to firmly tighten up joints, nuts or couplings. Then run a little water & check for drips or leaks on the fittings. (Quick Note: this is a plastic or pvc product, so be careful & don't over tighten the nut fittings & you're good to go!) Used these to replumb a basement/laundry setup. Worked perfectly.

I returned due to what I considered a much thinner material that the pipes and fittings were made of and the perceived lesser quality/tightness of the fittings to to each other. Maybe my fault for not considering these perceived faults or actually researching these compared to other similar products on Amazon or at "big box" stores, but who does this on such a standard item. I assumed all were about the same.

I bought this kit because my under sink re-plumb is quite complicated and this kit is the only one that I could find, that has the incredibly long pipe with the 45° end that can screw on to the bottom of the far sink and can reach to the other side to connect to the down pipe from the disposal. The big box stores don't even carry this pipe. So this way I would be sure to complete the intricate and complex job with every imaginable part needed!

Perfect fit and easy to install. There is no directions that I could find, so when replacing you old pipes take you time measure correctly and you'll be just fine during the install.
